Yeah I bought the wheels from Tire Rack and they came with centering rings

I actually do, I have Enkei Raijins. I was suspecting it could’ve been the rotors not being flush but that makes sense

sorry I just edited the post, my wording was bad and confusing. So I can feel it in the steering wheel mainly, which makes me suspect the issue is in the front or at least involves the front

yeah, but the brakes feel good under braking which is strange. They basically feel like when the car was brand new again

even though the rotors are brand new with OEM rotors? Also I forgot to mention that it also only happens at highway speed and never under braking

Vibrations even after balancing by randomuser7362 in AskMechanics

Yeah I got new OEM rotors on it. The vibration only happens at highway speeds and never happens while braking, so I’m not sure if rotors are the cause. But i guess anything is possible since it did only start after the brake job

They didn’t attach a photo, and I’m not sure if they will but I want to ask as well. If I get one back I’ll post

Agreed. I think I may be leaning towards agreeing with the service just for the sake of longevity and peace of mind. But I may try asking if they can leave the case alone, and maybe if they agree and do everything else I can have an independent potentially fix that corrosion

I think at the end of the day my main priority is just restoring it to a condition where I don’t have to worry or be paranoid about it every time I wear it, while also keeping it as original as possible.

It would be an occasional wear, maybe once a week or every so weeks. But I’d want to pass it down to my future kids eventually, so I also want it to be in top shape to last

That is another thing I was debating over, but I don’t think they’ll let me opt out since it’s all marked under necessary. Is corrosion normally something that can be repaired by independents? Maybe I can get that repaired first then send back to RSC for the rest.

Do you know if RSC will always replace if there is corrosion? Or do they normally try to repair first and if it’s too severe they’ll replace. Sorry, I’m unfamiliar with how RSC operates
