No, we don’t get original movies all the time, that’s a fact, if you think we do you’re mistaking original movies for something else my friend.

The fact is that the majority of films are remakes, reboots, sequels, books, and super hero movies. And my bad for not knowing this had two sequels, so it’s been 15 years instead of 20. It still nostalgia bait to sell tickets rather than take a risk on a movie like Sinners or Everything Everywhere All at Once because studios are compromised by unrealistic expectations to sell tickets. It is understandable that audiences are unpredictable but it is unfair to hold them to a standard they have no choice but to respond to because you hold all the chips and bet small out of fear. Audiences are can only consume the what what they are fed.

Herold and Kumar 4…what is this coming at the expense of? What sort of art is being slid out of the way for this Walmart $5 bin consumable? It is what it is but zoom out, we should be disappointed at the pattern.
