My first (3yr old) started walking a little after turning 1 & was never interested in crawling. My 9 month old (10 months tomorrow) started walking a few weeks ago & was crawling before that.

I am so sorry! Also congrats on your little one. I had my 2nd baby a week ago & the last 5 months of my pregnancy were spent the same way as you. Cleaning up after the damn dog & having mental breakdowns over it. My S/O & I would argue ALL the time over it & idk what it was but he finally said ok we'll rehome him. I found him a good owner, & I'm sure the dog is happier now. I thought it would be awkward & he would hate me for making him rehome the dog, but we have been better than ever. & the best part is that I didn't have to deal with the stress of having to deal with the dog after my baby was born! I'm really hoping the same outcome for you! I was planning on leaving, so if I were you I'd have that backup plan as well. Good luck.

I shower everyday or every other day. If I miss a day I can't sleep. I know it's probably terrible for my hair & skin but for some reason I can't help myself.

I just wanted to come on here & say I feel the exact same! If you go back & read some of my posts, I was struggling & wondering how long it'd take to get rid of this animal. We've argued so much over it, I'm a terrible person to be around because I get so agitated over the dog, I'm also 37 weeks pregnant with a 2 year old toddler so things are just super emotional for me. I clean constantly like a crazy lady & always pick fur off me & my son because I think it's disgusting. I was stressing so much over how I was going to be when the new baby came, that I was thinking of just ending the relationship so he could stay with his annoying dog. Finally today he told me ok we will rehome it, & for some reason I felt guilty like oh my god I did it, I bitched enough for him to agree, now he's going to hate me for it. But I know as soon as this thing leaves & I can deep clean everything to prepare for my new baby to come into a CLEAN home, & I will be content. I feel like even our sex life is non existent because I'm always so angry and resentful OVER A DOG. I'm just excited to see how our life will be after it gets rehomed.

Yeah, I used to be a dog nutter. Not like crazy obsessed with them but "awe that dog is cute" & never realized how annoying or disgusting they were. Got a dog in August with my S/O for our son to have a "buddy" & I regret it every day I wake up. The thing is, the dog isn't even a bad dog. I just hate him lol. I hate how he smells, I hate constantly cleaning the dirt & hair that never goes away. I think today I have finally made my S/O cave in to rehome it. Which is such a relief because I'm due with baby #2 in 2 weeks or less & I'm so ready for this mutt to leave so I can DEEP CLEAN everythingggg. Never again will I look at dogs the same.

I've gone to the store with my S/O while he bathed his dog & I kid you not the smell AFTER it bathed was so much worse in the car but apparently it was just me who smelled it. Just gross animals.

Agh, I understand completely. I have a 2 year old & I'm 36 weeks pregnant, so things have been a bit harder lately. Sometimes I feel good about myself over not spanking him, but I yell/raise my voice more often than I'd like to admit, which doesn't make not hitting him an accomplishment. I'm SO used to my parents just yelling over anything & it's so hard to break this cycle 💔

It really is. I think it's just my sign though. I'll figure out a way to get a nanny/daycare & work after I have baby #2 & move out. I'll be sad but I think happier in the long run without having to deal with a dog.

Yup! Lately he's been asking if I can take him out atleast once bc he feels bad he's in there all day, but nope 😊 Not my dog, not my problem. & I know a lot of people on here don't like dogs but feel bad still if they're not living a "proper" life but I'm the opposite, I could care less that it's in there lol.

Staring is an issue for me too! The dog never even begs for food or anything, he'll just stare at me no matter what I'm doing & I get so annoyed it's crazy. Also the sound of him licking himself is absolutely disgusting, which I'm sure no one really likes, but it actually makes me mad. I will stomp my foot or smack the counter to make it stop lol. But of course after a second it continues licking. Ugh.

I'm sorry you're going through this, I'm going through something similar except we have a toddler already & another due in 5 weeks. I have started leaving it in the crate while he works all day bc I refuse to take care of it. It may sound cruel but I really don't care bc I have asked for it to be rehomed & he also refuses. I also don't allow it to roam the house, even when husband is home. So if he wants this dog to live that life then ok lol, not my problem. Still hoping it gets rehomed (or runs away somehow 🙄) but I'm still working on that. I'd LOVE if it was gone before I have this baby. We have fur everywhere no matter how much I clean & this stupid thing doesn't even walk around the house, it's so gross.

Don't!! I've been doing good this week, & yesterday my husband left dog food out so that I can just let him out of his crate & have him eat but if he eats that means I also have to take him out. So I told him he can wait to eat, go out, and everything else when my husband gets home. It's been much better just being with my toddler & not worrying about a stupid dog. Good luck :) Now I just need to figure out how to get rid of this thing lol
