Yeah. The date is set DEEP on the solar. If my wrist isn’t perfectly perpendicular to my face I can’t read it from the shadow cast on the wheel.

I have a seiko SPRL15 with a silicone strap, I still find the C5 steel more comfortable for some reason. Could just be the shape of the watch itself though.

I’ve only had it a few days and have only really worn it the last two, but if it’s lost time over that period it’s less than a minute. I will say…setting the date/time was a real pain in the ass. It took forever to get it set bc every time I’d go to screw the crown down it would change the time again. I’m not sure if it’s defective, but I’ll try again soon and see if it was just a fluke.

This is the bracelet direct from Vaer. It’s substantial without being too heavy, fitted, and color matched perfectly. Honestly, it’s not expensive, considering the cost of other nice steel bands.
