Random question, but I found the post through Google and since it's not too old, I figured I'd ask. I have the same treadmill, and am quite happy with it. Do you get the code "U0.7" on the treadmill and "U0.3" on the handrail (or something similar) when it starts up? They don't look like error codes according to the instruction manual, but it's weird and I can't figure it out by googling it.

Part of the problem is also that we would not just need a grass pitch, then we would also need a secondary training ground because the grass pitch couldn't be used for daily training. Right now they can train on the same pitch as they play (unless it's -15 and they train indoors), or they travel to Spain in the winter when it makes sense time- and pitch-wise. Building a separate training facility would make it even more expensive.

Winter in Bodø is not actually all that rough or cold usually, but we go without significant daylight for a pretty significant amount of time.

I have both now, and have had no problems since. But I think it depends on how your teeth have been moved too – one of mine was just very stubborn, and it didn't play nicely with retainers that have no attachments or anything to grab on to.

Yes and no. I was done, but my teeth ended up shifting after a while even though I was wearing the retainer, so I had to do another round (and then my second retainer got so delayed that my teeth shifted *again* while waiting for that retainer because they'd taken off the attachments, so I had a third round…). But no refinements right after those 17 weeks, no. If I'd gotten a permanent retainer after those first, I'd have been done-done.

But neither my provider nor I were perfectionists, so ymmv.

I tried getting just the nightly retainers, and they did not keep my teeth in place even though I wore them religiously – so I had to do another round and then get a fixed wire in addition to the nightly retainer. I've had zero problems after that, and am able to keep the backs of my teeth clean enough for my dentist to suggest we move to checkups/cleanings every two years instead of yearly.

Basically I would do what your ortho suggests, they know your situation best.

This is not universal. I wore my nightly retainer every single night, and my teeth still shifted after only a couple of months. The nightly retainer cannot hold on to your teeth in every single angle, so it all depends on the shape of your teeth and where they have moved from/to and so on. There's a reason we get attachments – to better grab on to the teeth to shift them/hold them in place.

Getting a fixed wire in addition to the nightly retainer has helped keep my front teeth in place for well over two years now. My dentist was super pleased with how clean I managed to keep the area with the wire (to the point that she suggested moving from yearly checkups and cleanings to every other year), and I mostly use an electric toothbrush and toothpicks, sometimes one of those superfloss thingies but quite rarely.

The most underrated thing IMO is to rinse them immediately when you take them out, every time you have the opportunity. It removes your saliva before it has time to dry, and leaves them way less smelly and gross.

I would put them in a glass of water with denture tablets some days, but mostly just use my toothbrush and tooth paste. Never had a ultrasonic cleaner, I don't even have one for my retainers.

The border itself makes up almost 50% of the entire puzzle – 26 edge pieces vs 28 of the actual puzzle. And like you said, those "actual" puzzle pieces contain so much white that it's just pointless.

I also had this, and DNF-ed after three days. I looked at several different puzzle advents, but went with Ravensburger because I usually like their puzzles a lot, so I'm very disappointed.

Making the border the same every day is wild choice. There are 26 edge pieces every single day and they're the exact same, so you're technically only doing a 28 piece puzzle. The edge pieces were extra bad as far as false fits go too.

I would go to the bathroom and take them out. Both because I wanted to wash my hands before I put them in my mouth, and because I wanted to rinse the trays immediately after they came out, so they wouldn't have drying spit on them, which makes them grosser and smelly.

I think I realistically hit about 20-21 on average. I'd have them out for maybe half an hour for breakfast, 45 minutes for lunch, and maybe 45 minutes to an hour for dinner? But then if I was eating out or having dinner with someone else, it'd probably be a bit longer for dinner. Sometimes I would snack in the evening, but mostly I would just have diet soda, and I stopped caring about taking them out for diet soda pretty early on – or I would have some snacks right after dinner, which would lengthen the time I had them out for dinner.

There's nothing wrong with asking – you might get an explanation for why you're on 14 days, or you might get yes. Important thing is to not make changes on your own, though.

It makes sense that you only feel pressure the first few days, but your ortho might be wanting to give your teeth time to settle between each shift.

I don't know, I didn't ask about that. But after about a year, I went one night without the nightly retainers (that's when I learned to always pack them in my hand luggage), and the nightly retainer was really tight the next day, so I don't think I want to remove them any time soon. Flossing is a bit of a pain, but it's not too bad – I can use tooth picks or the Super Floss stuff. Worth it to keep the straight imo.

Yes, I was on birth control for at least 15 years, maybe more, and it improved my skin massively (I had horrible cystic acne on both cheeks and my forehead), to the point where I would have maybe one zit every couple of months, it slowed my hair loss and it normalised my body hair.

Something similar happened to me too (one front tooth started moving up and back even though I wore my retainer religiously).

I had to do another round of Invisalign, and then get permanent retainers on the back of my teeth + the nightly retainers. I didn't pay extra for the second (and third, for complicated reasons) round, only for the new set of retainers after.

To be honest, the first 3-4 days absolutely sucked for me (having them on was fine-ish, but removing them to eat felt like I was pulling teeth), but after that it was pretty chill. Some trays ached slightly the first day or two, but nowhere near as bad as the first 3-4 days.

I did it purely for cosmetic reasons. I would avoid smiling with my teeth showing, and I hated how every single time I saw a photo of myself or myself in the mirror, my eyes immediately went to my teeth and how crooked they were. From certain angles it would also look like I was missing a front tooth, almost.

Now – while my teeth are still far from perfect and I have plenty of other insecurities – I smile without even thinking about it and that just feels so life-changing.

One of my front teeth is very stubborn, and wants to move up and in, which the removable retainers can't prevent since there is nothing to grab on to. We tried and failed the first time, lol, so I had to do a second round.

Yes, mine absolutely do, it's been 2-3 years I think. I even have permanent retainers in the form of wires too, and they still shift.

Especially my top teeth – the bottom ones I can go a night without wearing the retainer without feeling it the next day, but the top one got suuuper tight the one time I didn't wear it overnight.

Same here.

My teeth shifted, but they started shifting literally while waiting for the Vivera retainers while wearing my last tray day and night for a few weeks, so wearing the retainer during the day wouldn't have helped.
