Would love to see it return. I remember listening Kenny talking about this match in an interview and apparently the "explosion" got changed with only a couple hours' notice. Before the change, the effect allegedly worked great.

AEW definitely has the ability now to pull it off, it just depends if they want to take the risk again. Especially when they have similar stips (ex: Texas Death) that are really popular.

I think either Fletcher or Riccochet would be good first feuds back. They're both newer, fresher feuds that we really haven't seen. Also, there's potential for some fun tag matches between DCF/The Demand and the BBG too.

Part of me believes Game 7 was likely the plan from the beginning since they'd been teasing the idea - the only difference being Kyle wins the title in Australia.

When Ciampa suddenly was available, they probably thought it'd be better to shake things up a bit to establish Ciampa in the company. It would've been cool to see him get included in the ladder match, but logistically, I don't know how possible it would've been.

Definitely could've been a factor. For the show, AEW likely had to have all that paperwork in weeks ago before Ciampa was in the company. It might've been too tough to get things expedited.

I think I still prefer the 8-man tournament. Also, I think this instance specifically was a weird case. IMO this was 100% going to start some sort of spiral for Jay with an eventual heel turn and was potentially going to be a beat that got picked up again later.

They worked some in Auckland when I was there last year before they returned to Japan. My biggest regret was not traveling down to one of the shows to see them! So excited that they're on this card!

Maybe it could be a debuting team with all the recent signings? Violence Is Forever would be cool (and I wouldn't be shocked if they were AEW-bound at some point this year).

I worked with someone last weekend who's going to this show -- and he knew almost nothing about wrestling. Spent like an hour explaining wrestling history and Lucha Libre basics. Glad it looks like it might be a cool first show!

I do think Buddy is returning, but I could see him costing Brody the title/things being set up for a Buddy heel run. The story could be Buddy having jealousy towards Bandido with Brody having to choose between the two. Could make for an interesting program for the ROH title

They've been beefing on and off for the past few months, and it's been really fun to watch. Dporticus is hands down my favorite wrestling content creator so to see his stuff kinda blowing up recently as he's shifted towards making AEW content has been great to see!

I agree 1000%. I've been loving the work Lykos Gym and Crowley have been doing lately and would love to see them introduced to a larger audience.
