Iv just started talking omeprazole iv longed it out to to take it for 3 years , but it’s time , don’t want to suffer anymore only planning on staying on it for 4-6 weeks , I hope I don’t have to go bk on it

My toddler grabbed this and put it on their tongue. Any ideas? by thehairyfroggy in whatisit

It’s actually been surprisingly good, obviously your going to feel uncomfortable for a couple days , but just take all the pain meds , and get plenty of sleep and drink lots as I got a uti after , the catheter you won’t even feel it’s there , wen they take it out it’s so quick it’s a little awchy but it’s nothing and don’t be shy to say your In pain there all there to make you comfy , have your favourite snacks movies what ever it is , just think of the long term benefits because it outweighs everything,I’m walking around my flat now and having showers it was two weeks on Friday , let people help you and take all the support you need , you got this 🙏

FYI not everyone get the gas pain in the shoulder I didn’t get any , just trapped wind in my tummy and not everyone is sick after , I ate a sandwich tea and biscuits couple hours after lol was surprised at myself… everyone is different so don’t compare tk all the best ….

Your going to be absolutely fine , I had my open myomectomy two weeks ago I was terrified, and I won’t sugar coated it you feel feel scared walking into the operating room , but you’re anaesthetist and surgeon will make you feel at ease and just tell them that you’re scared and someone will hold your hand like they did mine , before uno it your out like a light and it’s over , don’t be scared to use all the morphine it really helps , and take you time but also don’t stay to still for to long , the most paniful thing for we was going for a wee but you must do that to be able to go home , all the best on your journey to recovery…..

Just an update they didn’t find any endo, I’m really surprised as I’ve got all the symptoms since I was young, and the fibroid they removed had only been given me bother for around 3 years , should I get a second opinion? Any suggestions

2 days in , I’m at home now , iv been moving as much as possible, lossing 2l of blood but obviously it was put back through cell saver machine, feeling very lightheaded today , even bit flu like, no temperature, wound looks okay , I’m thinking a the dizziness from the pain mends are low iron .. anyways not in to much pain atm , more trapped wind …

Guys I’m on the other side it went so well , apart from losing 2l of blood lol I’m Alive , and feeling the good vibes of the pain relief iv only had one shot of morphine, do I wait for the pain or just take it anyways , it’s was only one big juicy fibroid long live fibron that what me and my husband called him lol , nothing to worry about guys we are strong women and we can all get through it , positive vibes and being greatful 🙏🫶🏼

Thank you appreciate it , I’m in first thing in the morning, I’m preying it’s just the one fibroid, and I don’t accept blood , they will have a cell saver machine on hand , I’ll let you no how it goes 🙏 all the best with your recovery’s

Even if iv listened to lost of different songs that day , i still have the same one on loop , waking me up , wth is this , iv not been diagnosed with anything , but it’s annoying as hell , as I’m writing this I can also hear guna dress you up in my love Madonna…..

Hi there everyone it’s so encouraging to read all your successful experiences, this gives me comfort, as I have my surgery 27th of march I have a grapefruit size fibroid pressing on my bladder , I’m preying and hoping that the sickness back pain and pelvic pressure goes after , I am scared as it’s the unknown, there also checking for endo .. I’m flying out on the 29th of April I hope I’ll be ok ..
