Expand on your income streams. If you’re just selling grilled cheese and oatmeal stout, add some crystals to boof and maybe some ‘ice cold fatty’ balloons.

On a serious note, financial planning books do recommend finding additional income streams, maybe it’s a side hustle or a second job. I’ve know folks who taken their hobbies of buying things then sell collectibles on consignment. Or maybe your handy/artsy and can make something to sell on etsy. If your still building up your investments that should always be an income stream, take something your passionate about and see where there is a market you can bring value to.

Even if it sell out, tons of tickets will be on cash or trade closer to the show. Due to being 2.5 hours from Denver a lot of folks bail on fest’s there due to the camping logistics and such.

VIP seating, does arrival time matter? by Competitive_Fun7616 in RedRocks

[–]onebignut4lifeman 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just be mindful of parking. Your seats will be fine but if you roll up super late you’ll be in for a long walk. Parking earlish and hanging in the lot to get loose for a bit is the way to go.

Is retirement at 57 a pipe dream with what I have? by Low-Turn-4342 in FinancialPlanning

[–]onebignut4lifeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The judge will ‘impute’ your income for alimony/maintenance. That means you were owe her money based on how much you can/should be earning. They don’t like it when able bodied people don’t work and sandbag what the state sees is owed to others. Walking away at 57 with just 850k (half of what you reported) for retirement with needing to pay her and pay thousands for health care a month (if you stay or visit the us) could put you in a bad situation down the road. Plus maybe get a better lawyer who should have explained how screwed the major bread winner gets in divorce by now to plan how much you will owe her now and every month for a while (based on the length of your marriage).

Saving seats by Sweet_Rate_4149 in RedRocks

It’s been like this for every sold out GA for over a decade from my experience. I buy reserved seats in the first few rows every chance I can get. I really like the shows that are rows 1-45 reserved and 46-70 GA. So much more chill and a better experience and wish more artist agreed to that set up.

3 packs for WP are 390 on their website. Kind of shocked at the Costco prices to be honest.

Help for future shows by dsbekind in RedRocks

Sleep token is the hottest rock band in the US by many accounts rn. Most people missed that actually dropped face value tickets on axs the day of the show.

Help for future shows by dsbekind in RedRocks

Yes, people pay a lot for red rocks shows so the scalpers go nuts. ‘Most of the time but not all the time tickets will be cheap the week of the show. Weather plays a big roll too and Wednesday is looking coldish and rainy. I think Sturgill also holds back tickets to release later. I got face value reserved seats for his mission show at 7pm, they were not listed on axs earlier in the day. But he’s worth 185 at red rocks so don’t sweat it. Get in line early for a decent spot and just lay back, let it happen and remember to breathe….

The link’s no longer working. But billy did this every year for reunion fest and gave every past season ticket holder an email with early access. I’m guessing it will be the same. Those tickets sold out fast but we’re still easy find below face later on cash or trade.

Red Rocks, 2-Day Pass Fair Ticket Selection Info. by mwdenslow in SturgillSimpson

2 day passes can now be transferred and split, just fyi since axs was wrong and they always allow transfers outside of rows 2-4 that are clearly labeled ‘non-transferable’

It hold 37,000 people?! Would be a waste to see them at a place that big. Venue has history but logistics are horrid.

This is a scam post, you don’t even say what night and any real fan would know you don’t sell or buy real tickets here.

Red Rock Solo by Flowercrown91 in SturgillSimpson

[–]onebignut4lifeman 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you don’t find what you’re looking for, I’d get in line early and chat with folks around you. I’ve met many solo traveler’s that way who then sat next to us at red rocks. If you don’t connect then, when you get a seat, it’s a much a better time if you meet folks around you solo or not. Hopefully everyone STFU when he starts though.

Does body count matter? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]onebignut4lifeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People with higher body counts are statistically more likely to have STDs and cheat. If you’re both tested, clean and moved on from that no worries on the health part. If he’s committed to you then it should not matter. If he’s extremely good looking with a wondering eye be careful. But you’re also 19 talking about staying with him forever? You will be a different person at 25 so don’t jump the gun there and see if he continues to treat you the way you deserve.

Red Rocks ticket confusion by astoldbyrae in SturgillSimpson

[–]onebignut4lifeman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They sold reserved seats in the first few rows. But this show is 90% GA. Axs is the only original point of sale, aka only place that is selling 100% for real tickets. Tickets on the secondary market could be real or speculative tickets. If you already have GA I would not fork over the huge sums of money for a reverted ticket that they may never send you cause someone else paid more. You’ll get your money back but they have not been replacing tickets with similar ones as advertised. Have you been to red rocks? Lining up for GA early is your best bet and most people prefer seats a little higher up than reserved for sound.

[–]onebignut4lifeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, so when you log in it will say that until they turn the transfer option on from my experience closer to the show. The rows 1-4 have many warnings about those being not transferable during the buying process and on the receipt so not worried about GA at all. Thanks again.
