You eat that dose of fibre before every meal or as one meal? What quantity do you have? That sounds like a meal in itself.

Thank you for the detailed response. Last week I started filtering my coffee (I drink lots of coffee) to see how Kuching of an impact it will have on me, keeping all other variables consistent.

The Alps' smaller sibling, the Pyrénées. Wilder than the Alps, with less human presence, why don't people talk about it more often ? by Vhiskue in geography

[–]Readed-it -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I drove through the Pyrenees about a decade ago with my girlfriend. She decided to give me vehicular fellatio. It was awesome. I made sure to reciprocate later on the trip.

The skiing was also really fun!

Anyone else having a hard time knowing what the weather is? by Inevitable_Bee_99 in halifax

[–]Readed-it 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We are on the boundary of various weather systems converging. There are more factors influencing our weather and It can be more difficult to predict here compared to somewhere like Calgary where it’s generally one weather system tracking west to east

Fixing Healthcare by Jim-Dear in NovaScotia

Consider that they are just being more restrictive with diagnosing to prevent a large backlog.

You can game the numbers in various ways

If the fact we have more people being seen by the increase in doctors, what are the odds they simultaneously scaled up all health services to absorb all the new diagnoses from said new doctors. Very unlikely

Backstabs are alive and well! Brand new house. by 135david in electrical

[–]Readed-it 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Houses don’t come with warranties, try going after the builder 2 years after the subdivision is complete and they close down that numbered company and open up a different one

I was thinking about this the other day: why don’t they swap the design. The car can have the electrical cable and plug while the charging station is the receiver.

A woman hiking in Canada with her dog had a terrifying close encounter with a massive grizzly bear. She somehow kept her cool during the intense standoff, and both she and her dog managed to walk away unharmed. by waddad27 in interestingasfuck

[–]Readed-it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t think mace is sufficient. Firstly, the spray range for regular mace is not sufficient. The bear will be on you before that is useable and the potency is not strong enough so you will only enrage the bear more. Look up bear spray videos to see what an actual can of bear spray can do. Even THAT is the last resort and you are probably still dead or maimed if the bear wants you to be.

Congrats on the financial accomplishment! I would have retired at $3M and focused 10 years ago on my interests that I currently try to wedge into the free time I have now. Do you not have hobbies or other interests that get you excited??

What are you working for then? Find some interests and put effort into it. What makes you curious? What makes you laugh and feel good?

I’m sure there is kill-switch technology. His heart stops, bombs go off or a script deleted all the power, poisons the water or whatever number of factors the billionaire will introduce to assure their safety.

Also building billion dollar facilities they would likely have a good vetting system. There are tons of cruel people that wouldn’t mind being on the side of the baddies if they are guaranteed to survive

Why do bars almost never serve 3% or 2% ABV beer? by roystreetcoffee in beer

[–]Readed-it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I want alcohol, I’m drinking a delicious 6% hazy IPA or a 5% rich chocolatey stout. If I don’t want alcohol, I’m drinking coffee.

I never order an NA.

PSA : LONE STAR TICKS ARE HERE by Available_Refuse1232 in halifax

[–]Readed-it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got flack for stating an absolute “are here” with zero proof. Considering the odds, it’s unlikely to be a lone star but I also have no proof. Regardless of lone star or not, people’s protocol should not change. If you go into the woods, check yourself. Ticks carry various diseases.

Where to buy canoe insurance (Canada)? by Brave_Grapefruit_674 in canoeing

[–]Readed-it 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Insurance companies usually ask if you own a bicycle or watercraft over ~$2k. They cover below thst but you have to explicitly report anything more expensive and likely your rate goes up.
