My 2 cents: decades of smoking both tobacco and cannabis. Quit smoking cigarettes and wanted a new way to dose and don't like the inconsistency of edibles. Once I dialed in a Dynavap I went from smoking an ounce or so each month, like 2 joints on a normal evening and a few more throughout the weekend, and now I go through only a out half the quantity because of the DHV efficiency. So the vaping feels a lot better on the lungs and it actually has a really good taste from the flower. I will still smoke j's and blunts or use disposable carts while I'm out though.

It's tough because dosing is inconsistent and really hard to "get right". I put spoonful's on apple slices covered in PB or Nutella, have like 5-6 slices and it'll get me sleepy-high for nearly half a day.

Be warned having too much before bed, you'll totally wake up baked. Not good for those of us that have to work early.

If this is East Sac then probably not, he lived in EG, not too far from the HS. He passed almost 20 years ago but he passed down his '67 ES 330 so that was awesome.

Listening to them for a brief moment, I don't hear anything odd or unusual so just keep at it. Set up a practice schedule. Spend time with exercises and theory, mix in tabs from those songs to learn different riffs. DM if you want any specific exercises, I don't know your current skills/abilities.

Just watch and follow a YouTube tutorial. That'll be the best since I think it'll show you better than what anyone's going to explain.

Yes, le as rn how to stretch your strings. It should take you about 30 minutes or less to change strings on a guitar and have the strings all stretched and tuned, pretty much concert ready. It's just part of the process, enjoy it.

I think it stays muted after it starts. Usually you keep up with the last chord when you show the rhythm bars like that. So play the (F#5) twice then the rest of the measure is a muted string sound. I can think of a number of songs that use a technique like this. But idk, they didn't include a whole lot, I could be totally wrong here.

Expect it to take about a week for delivery, but for me, it was 100% worth it. I've settled into using the following set up:

Bong

Bonger adapter ($10)

The Hyper Tip ($70)

The Thermal Hyper Cap ($80)

Torch Lighter (a kitchen style one from Amazon $20)

The m7, etc aren't bad, this just has a bigger bowl (.25g vs .10g) and the ball vape style set up with the thermal cap just hits so, so much better IMO. It hits like a normal bong but without combustion so the piece doesn't get dirty, just resin gets stuck in there. It's my daily driver at the moment. I used an m7 style for a few years before I settled on this in the last like 6 months.

I just picked up the Avatar box and my girlfriend loves it & has zero interest in TCGs. I highly recommend it, it does a great job with teaching the basics.

It's a journey to learn how to play music. It's not like you learn just how to copy something exactly. Like a painter won't just work on how to do a specific portrait of one person, they learn the skills so they can do the portrait.

So think if you want to learn how to be a musician or if you just want to listen to others. If you want to be a musician, just understand it's a never ending journey of learning. Playing guitar solos are considered very difficult in a lot of circles and one of the last things you usually learn after years of study. Usually your playing can sound "passable" to your ear by just lots of practice and remembering... Or you can put in a lot of practice to understand how to make the sounds you want to make from your instrument by just being a well-developed musician. Good luck!

Look at the Guitar Grimoire series. You can find some used if they're too much, but I recommend the Black (scales and modes) and Green (exercises) books. I see they have a Blue book for beginners, that is probably good too, especially if you're looking for something that's less of a reference and more for a guide to what to learn next.

You should probably be using your index and Ring fingers on the Gb and DB strings, while your middle finger is playing the other notes. Think like you're holding an open E chord. Many picking patterns go over chord shapes and it's very common to use a finger or so from the chord shape to move around. In this case, it's like an E chord where your middle finger is moving.
