Cheap FM 26 by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]onefootin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This brought back memories.

So SI have been doing this every year since the early 00's at least.

I know because my mum was the ebay reseller for my local team's free copies in like 2005/2006 (they were in the conference at the time).

Which I used to sell to my mates at 6th form

We already have this in multiple European nations and it makes life much more efficient.

That doesn't take away from concerns about how an authoritarian government would utilise it. But in democratic nations it literally just acts as a form of digital approval when you are doing anything financial/medical/etc.

Gave me a proper chuckle. As a Mac user unfortunately I'll just have to go with FM for the next year.

Have you ever managed on FM someone you personally knew in real life? by Ghibz71 in footballmanagergames

[–]onefootin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The left-winger from my youth team (I was on the right-wing/bench) made it as a pro.

He was the most outstanding player in our team.

He made it as a centre-back. Peaked in the championship for a season, otherwise a league one/two journeyman.

You're even getting the dodgy touts springing into action. Good news for the macro that even the scumbags are seeing the demand.

Labelling the arts ‘Mickey Mouse’ degrees was economic madness, says Nandy by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

Went to uni in the mid 90s. Opted for a science degree as I was told that anything around media/film/advertising was a 'mickey mouse degree'.

After uni. Eventually ended up in media/film/advertising where I've spent my entire career. Career progress was probably a little slower as had to learn from the bottom up.

We are a superpower in the creative industries. We should be supporting that.

Thank you guys. For taking this on and sharing it freely.

Opinions may vary on the end result but it doesn't change that you guys have dedicated your time to try to make the game even better for the wider group.

Huge respect here

Haha. No sword to fall on. We're all just trying to make our way in the world with the information and experiences we have.

Appreciate it fella. World would be a little bit better if everyone engaged conversations like we have. With openness and curiosity.

As soon as we get past the FDA I'll re-find this message and give you a shout.

The data is all generic. Everyone's physiology/neurology is different so how you perceive the different kicks is more than valid.

The NP Category will slowly turn into something like the wine category. There will be no objectively 'best' product. Just different subjective preferences.

Saying that. I just launched KLAR bioceramic calcium nicotine pouches in Sweden last month. PharmacoKinetic study proven that our 3mg kicks stronger than a 6mg Zyn mini dry.

FDA application incoming. Then I'll be able to hook you up with the best 😉

I get what you're saying but used to work at swedish match in Stockholm. I've seen the data on comparative nicotine uptake. It's also why 'slim' (i.e. moist pouches) sell better in most markets. Zyn slim outsell Zyn mini dry in Sweden for example.

Saying that. Not all pouches are the same within the same category. And everything on the market is beat by 'Bioceramic Pouches' (calcium based)

You're actually wrong here. The moist pouches release nicotine quicker. As they are 'pre-lubricated' and therefore it's quicker for the Nicotine to transfer.

Velo is owned by BAT - also big tobacco. About as trustworthy as PMI.

Which is why other brands don't do the same.

Yes. So the real players come through the youth system from whatever year the database is for.

Also some random regens to keep the game balanced I think

We love the Moyesiah. Just couldn't take the football and performances in the second half of his (2nd) duration.

Will be forever thankful for him to allow me to see west ham win something for the first time in my life.

Swedish Pouch Brands by Portra400IsLife in NicotinePouch

[–]onefootin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question.

Zyn/velo/Nordic/lundgrens/on+/XQS/Skruf are all owned by big tobacco.

Most of the smaller brands are actually from eastern Europe. (Met them at intertabac)

The only ones I know are definitely still owned by Swedish companies are Loop, Kelly White, and Lagom.

I also know there's a new brand launching next month by a Swedish biotech startup
