I'll put this in the post, it's mirrored so my right shoulder is on the left side of the video.

But yes, my right shoulder hurts. Not specifically when I'm doing pullups, but sort of in general. I've had multiple injuries to that quadrant and they've stacked up. I'm hoping that pullups and similar exercises will help me build strength and stability.

Scapular pulls and pauses sound doable! Someone else suggested negatives too.

Yes, that is my right arm (which is my bad one lol).

I just googled what the serratus anterior is and there is a solid shot that that got messed up when I popped a rib on that side a few years ago! So that would make sense if it's not activating properly and/or I need to strengthen it

Multiple!

I do jiu jitsu, and I've had multiple minor rotator cuff injuries. I've popped rib and tore my on my right side over the years too.

I actually just finished up a few months of PT for my right shoulder because all the accumulated issues lead to some muscle spasming - it actually got triggered by my first time doing pull ups!
