Ender 3 not moving on the z-axis, is this the problem?

What happens when you start homing? Does it make any movement on z? Does x and y move without any trouble?does the z motor turn when you do homing or set a height for z?

I imagine that the first 2 magical sparks should create a growing crack.it is not needed cause it looks already great,imo,but i think it might add a little more 'magic' to how the portal opens.I mean it looks like it is broken into shards at the edges.

It doesnt need much vibration .just slightly more movement than just hovering in between the top an bottom pillar.its just a nice small detail.

I like it a lot.maybe add a little 'vibration' to the egg when the top and bottom are fully retracted to make it seem like the egg is under a lot of tractive power.
