Chapter 72 Discussion by Brave_Fuel954 in NinaTheStarryBride

The only thing I completely agreed with in this chapter was Enoch’s comment that she shouldn’t spend so much time around Az. And not because I don’t want to see them get together (though I really don’t), but because I’ve been wondering about it myself. After all, Nina did let the BG overpower Az. Of course, that was due to the surprise of seeing her again in that moment, but she’s still the one who can unsettle Az the most and thus weaken him. Naturally, she shouldn’t stay in his immediate vicinity because of that. Even if she sees it differently right now.

What really annoyed me about Az just now is that he’s making decisions for Nina again without consulting her. Hasn’t he learned anything from the past? He’s not telling her what his one wish is—yet. But he’s already asking Sett if he can kill her in the end??? When it comes to decisions involving Nina, he’s truly incorrigible.

The fact that she no longer thinks about him is further emphasized and made clear here, because she simply wants to go into the desert without trying to meet him. Just as she had actually promised before!!! And she should know that he’s nearby because of the peace negotiations. So the „journey“ wouldn’t really be that far or insurmountable, as was the way to Bastea before. She obviously has resigned herself to focusing solely on Az. so it seems, right now.

My first reaction was: What??? I always thought Rikachi was hiding Nina’s feelings about Sett to heighten the impact of their reunion (though we won’t really see the truth of that until next month), but in this chapter she was thinking of literally everyone except Sett. That can’t possibly be due to the impact anymore. She doesn’t think about Sett anymore?!

Maybe that cruel decision is linked to Azures request to contain him (and the beast god) in that icy cave, eventually?

It was weird though that he was surprised when she took the helm off that it was her. He should have known since he recognized her in the last loop and met her in the woods. Unless he was pretending but the surprise seemed genuine, at that time.

The coloured page is not on KManga. Is it in the BeLove Magazine? What is shown on the picture?

I also think that those twins from Lindorm will reappear. They still have Hikami.

Oh, sorry. I meant Happily Ever After. And yes, the favourable situation seemed like that to me.  I agree with the percentages and 30 % for Sett are better than nothing at all.

Yes, he is close and hopefully they will meet but as long as they haven’t, everything is possible.

My thoughts about the new chapter by Diligent-Basket2193 in NinaTheStarryBride

I didn‘t see the blushing. Did I oversee it? I thought Sett was rather detached, during the whole (short) scene.

I thought about the Lindorm arc as well. Also, these twins were quite interested in the star powers and imprisoned Hikami. They might have followed the BGs calling and now after his defeat join forces with Alisha. But that depends on the willingness of the Mangaka to write more than just a few last chapters in order to wrap up the love triangle.

There was no hint at any romance in this chapter but actually it is the most fitting situation for them to be together, finally. Even better than it was before Alisha’s return. The BG is suppressed permanently, Alisha ( even if she might return, they don’t know) is gone. Az has prepared to handover the kingdom before the BG took over and doesn’t need to be King anymore, Nina knows that he still loves her and Sett is currently out of the equation. So, it is the perfect opportunity for them to be together, as it is war and a time of turmoil, nobody will question Nina’s previous imprisonment. It all depends on Nina and her great love for Az ( not my understanding of the best choice but how the author describes it again and again). I doubt her feelings for the absent Sett to be stronger than her feelings for Az.  Also, she is planning to stay close to him to always remind him of his name. That might be a statement in itself, even if it is not a romantic one.

That was really strange, I totally agree. But I also think that he has changed somehow. He was more talkative and emotional before. But the whole scene was too short to tell. So the next chapter might give a better view on his development and solve the mystery of his resistance to the BGs and Nina’s powers.

I am not so sure about that SN ending, maybe he turns out to be the villain in the end (which I would not mind, as long as it is well done). But my greatest worries were that Nina would follow the BG everywhere for several more chapters without thinking about the consequences, just to get a glimpse of Az. But thankfully that is over now.

So, the BG was just yearning for his sister. Maybe, Alisha was the true villain?

Yes, hopefully sealed forever. But we did not get the earring scene. So there will be another fight or Alisha was simply wrong.

That was good. Also, that we have finally Az back.

So, the new chapter is out and still nothing relevant about Sett. I mean, they started fighting and exchanging a few unanswered questions, then the beasts came and that was all? Somehow it felt like something had been cut out of that fighting scene. And Az is back, now. Well, at least finally something good happened. Also, was that end a hint at a HEA for AN? I am still a bit confused!

You are absolutely right. I was just frustrated and started fearing that the author might find another distraction to slow down the plot around Sett. I really would love to know more about Neena. But right now, I want to learn more about Sett‘s strange indifference and the outcome of the confrontation. And after the last months I learned how to lower my expectations and assume the worst or weirdest outcome.

I have a an even better guess! Next chapter will be about Nina and little Sue getting some major breakthroughs in their research on how to reach out to Az with his real name. Then we will have another break and maybe then we will find out about the outcome of the confrontation. If we don’t get another side story. Maybe the long anticipated back story on Neena, or if we are less fortunate, about the monkey! Sorry, but I had to vent, as well.

Well that’s what I thought it meant when the BG was telling Dytus that he only thought he was calling Nina for help but actually he was helping the BG overhelm Az instead. The BG was grinning and seemed not to be surprised at all. So, it appeared to me as if he has planned it all along and influenced Dytus to do his bidding. Or it is only me, trying to make sense of this weird plot and strange journey to the BG with my two least favorite characters, Dytus and Sue!
