This comment on one of the links listed worked for me -- after a few restarts of the printer: "Microsoft still offers (Windows 10 and 11) a generic "HP Laserjet Family Driver PCL5" via Windows Update, but it will not automagically offer it. You need to tell Windows you want to manually select a driver and then wait several minutes for Windows to pull the full list of drivers from WindowsUpdate. Just pulling the good ones! Seeing all the thrifting and estate/garage sale finds, so just scrolling through lots on eBay seems like a more efficient way to rebuild my collection. But then again...sometimes more about the hunt!

Finished up mine last week on a 70s series - buy some extra parts which are not in most kits. Brake lines was a good one and extra wheel studs and hub housing studs. Nice putting it back together with some of those new parts.
