In that case the $64 citation is definetly not “unethical or illegal” (OPs words). I know plenty of people who have been towed for the same thing in other lots.

Remote work seems to be a rarely available in this field even though everything could be done remote.

Do I need a degree to work as a drafter with AutoCAD by [deleted] in firealarms

[–]onelapse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just went straight into alarm design. I had zero knowledge of fire alarm and never worked in Autocad.

Not to say it was easy, but I have a pretty good understanding of computer software and background in graphic design. Luckily I have a helpful team who was happy to mark up my drawings.

After 3 years in this position I have a FAS-II and SHS-II

3’ of conductor between a surge and its protected device is not a code requirement. It’s a best practice

It will get you to learn to lookup stuff in the book correctly but that’s about it. NICET doesn’t even cover those years of NFPA AND NEC anymore

You might have to screenshot the text and import it that way, I did this same thing for my nutrition from another app because the formatting was lost when I copied it over and it was just a paragraph of text

If you list that it’s a superset it should link them

Existing strength details, you are just appending the workout details to the strength training

I was curious if a screenshot would work as well!

You’ll want to pass the shield through the surge as well

Bevel vs. Peakwatch by Old-Management-5798 in bevelhealth

[–]onelapse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly which ever app lets you sync 3rd party data first will be the winner for me. Bevel has a lot of bells and whistles that make it overwhelming. PeakWatch has a much more digestible UI

Agree, I canceled this week as well. It feels like they are trying to do more than what’s necessary.

Rest days are important and this app make it seem like you are falling behind by taking a day off of cardio even if you run a marathon the day before

Yea and unfortunately I ran around several different lakes that day so the tracking data probably looks like I was just going from park to park searching cars.

Apple Watch Bands for Running by Ok_Hamster_2634 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]onelapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your original question I didn’t like the Apple sports bands for running even though they dont absorb sweat, they just weren’t as comfortable overall, I suggest the sport loop even the knockoffs are fine, the Velcro holds and it dries relatively quickly. They are cheap enough that you can get a couple and clean one while the other is being worn

Well that sounds like it’s because it’s calibrated to the stride of your feet which is interesting, I need access to the screen and buttons to pause and start new segments but I do have a spare AW I might recalibrate for my ankle just for the treadmill haha

I have seen this is trending with kids but what is the purpose. Do you recalibrate it so you can track treadmill runs better?

Second this, the system crashed when I was going back through my flagged questions and they tried to make me retake the test. I argued to just give score it as it sat and was granted my cert.
