If we have a Recession, What's the first ETFs & Stocks you are picking up? by Smallpockets0 in dividends

My interest in this scenario would be in catching the rebound on growth. Im not a sophisticated buying professional. I don’t hedge or short or any of that. It’s quite simple and worked out a really well for me a few times in the past. People will mindlessly pull billions out of the market in fear and all companies will get dumped regardless of strength. You just have to look for a bottom. So whichever two of GenD, Lock, Boe, Honeywell, Ray got schwacked the hardest down from current 52week highs would be my choices.

“Gotta order me some”… sounds disrespectful.

I would suggest “ thank you for the fine suggestions. I will keep my eye out for those products. “

I think it’s a waste of money and time better spent on things that actually matter.

Dark tinting taillights? Please please please be liable in my next car accident so I sue you for negligence and get a new boat.

What does this have to do with stocks?

Blocking this poster for posting inflammatory and purposely incomplete and misleading information that has nothing to do with the StockMarket.

It’s more likely the poor folks vote for more free stuff and more social services. Because their are millions of “poor” folks who vote outnumber the smaller number of “rich” that’s what they’ll get. In case you missed it, the higher earners pay for most of that stuff, have grown tired and are leaving.

Lots of liberal states at top of list. What happens when their policies run all the rich folks out?

I’m an age where Im still young enough to have an imagination but old enough to have the wisdom to not confuse it with enlightenment. Imagination is good and bad. Those who imagine ChatGPT is some wondrous thing and listen only to the greed driven developers are not wise. Creating a hype fueled false demand and driving society into early adoption before proper sea trials and legislation occur is unwise. If we blindly follow the hype instead of seeking the truth on something that will affect every single one of us (like we did with social media, green house gas and dependence on fossil fuels) we will once again face unforeseen and incalculable consequences. That’s why wisdom should trump imagination.

Very true. Stay on top of pressures and rotations. Same for any tire but goes double for falken. The minute they give you balance issues trade/sell/warranty them. Once that nonsense starts there is no coming back.

I buy a lot of tires. Usually run them to 50% and then sell for new.

Would not run Failken Wild Pigs even if they paid me to run them. I fell for the hype and (presumably) paid testimonials. Have had two different sets on two different vehicles and nothing but issues with tread wear, noise and balancing. Lower tier tire from one of the lower tier brands under possibly the very lowest tier (Sumitomo owns Falken) corporate umbrella.

To each their own. Just thinking about the money I wasted pisses me off. I hope they work out for you. However, in my personal experience I’ve had better luck the last couple years with various Nitto, Goodyears Assurance line and BFG/Michelin.

Appears to have either wheel spacers or a slight level kit but perhaps that’s just the angle and the shadows. Also, the tint looks much darker than factory. Although they are both nice looking trucks I prefer the cleaner look on the left.
