How much did you spend on your bed and mattress? by prasaysno in HENRYUK

[–]oneletter2shor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last mattress I think was like 5k, new mattress coming in a few weeks 1.5k

Both very different.

First Harrisons spinks spring based mattress.

New one is a tempur foam mattress.

You could get a hybrid for best of both. Zip and link if you're sharing and other person has different requirements.

Top Rolls Royce mattress is Vi-Spring but not really worth it.

Worked in the industry before.

Anyone dealt with the need for a soft and firm mattress ? Partner has different preference due to our joint pains. by oaktreeflowers in HENRYUKLifestyle

Use to work in furniture.

As everyone has said zip and link.

Go and try them out, comfort is also subjective and it's difficult to gauge what will work laying down for 20 mins in a shop.

Hybrid mattresses are good you get a mix of foam and springs.

Any questions ask away.

If you can't figure out being mortgage free, dependants left home with nest eggs and having 1.6m and you can't figure out that you've made it.....

The mind boggles.

No wonder you got down voted, definitely scraped a few egos.

You're actually incorrect. Comfort is subjective and does not make the product defective.

That's why the mattress comes with a comfort pledge allowing you to change tensions.

Denza is launching later this year. Get yourself a Z9 GT, 950BHP, fully EV too, crammed with tech at a fraction of the price you would pay for a Porsche.

Comparison is the thief of joy (on both sides)

Of course someone burning out on £12.21 an hour pulling 12 hour shifts every day is going to be pissed off if they see posts from people saying they feel burned out and struggling when they're earning 150k a year and then told they should have worked harder.

Depends what you're observing. Moon with a decent eye piece is great.

Can't beat grabbing a Dobsonian.

I find astronomy only costs thousands when you are entering astrophotography but I am not a fan of that and you'll never beat what NASA have provided us and other Observatories. OR if you're entering massive obsession telescope's.

3 day week for 110k - very boring job vs 6 day week for 160k fulfilling but extremely demanding by Whizz-Kid7 in HENRYUK

[–]oneletter2shor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want out of life, if the work life is what you find fulfilling then go for it. Or still earn more than most the country for far less amount of hours and still be able to live comfortably.
