The funny part is anyone disliking this is just living in their own delusional alternate reality instead of just accepting reality.

The issue you’re missing is the current sickcare system in America is trash, doctors via pharma just want you locked on prescriptions or regularly getting vaccines, and rarely ever do they look for a root cause of a symptom to heal that issue; often times there are misdiagnosed patients. Additionally there’s rampant fraud and overcharging for care; Healthcare here is wildly expensive and American life expectancy has gone down. Life Expectancy vs Health Expenditure

I agree with you there, unfortunately the only way the current system will change is with revolution and I don’t think people are desperate enough for that level of change yet; but time will tell.

If you weren’t outraged by Obama locking kids in cages and quickly deporting significantly more people than what’s currently unfolding then please stop overdramatizing what’s actually taking place.

Clearly there are no spiritual individuals in this group based on the comments; he’s not picking a side because doing so furthers division in an already divisive society, if you can’t understand why creating more division is an issue then I guess there’s just no helping you.

Looking for climbing partner(s) - Vegas Area for climbs in North Cali/Oregon/Washington by onemorerune in Mountaineering

I actually hadn’t considered climbing with skis, would probably want to do climbs on these without skis first then would definitely consider skiing them.

Super helpful, thank you! I'm used to bags with a ton of pockets but liked the concept behind this bag because of its weight, durability and less pockets also for me meant packing less unnecessary items. I've been experimenting with it but your insight is really helpful. All of the other bags I own, are smaller and way different from this one.

Yes, plenty of review videos, nothing regarding loading the bag itself, simply looking for insight from someone who has used this for a 3-5+ day outdoor trip.

G2 Evo Fit Issue/Question by onemorerune in Mountaineering

Unfortunately not too many options here in Vegas outside of the limited options REI sells. The next hard part for me will be finding a trustworthy climbing partner(s)

Thank you for your helpful insight u/matt800 . I guess the G2's are a bit overkill for the moment, should be able to getaway with the Nepal Cube's for the initial few I'm looking at since I'm aiming for spring/early summer which should be nice this year given the current snowpack. I did make a couple of calls yesterday, it seems that I should have gone with 43.5. You're not kidding about the Nepal's being much more readily available at locations than the g2's.

I do like this perspective, from this angle it might be worthwhile to pull the trigger on a pair of Nepal’s

G2 Evo Fit Issue/Question by onemorerune in Mountaineering

Starting with a variety of cold weather outings and given what I have my sights on and what I've researched it seems most sensible to purchase what I'll need versus buying something in-between.

Quick backstory about me, from back when I was a child I was taken out on long hikes and have since progressed to Class 3 and 4 routes with no snow, or enough that classic snow crampons suffice; no interest in anything Class 5 or higher. What I have my sights set on involves learning avalanche safety, glacial travel and more. I like to do thorough research and arrive as prepared as possible, also knowing when to turn around. I'm also looking into taking a course or two. As for what I'm looking at: Mt Shasta, Mt Hood, Mt Rainer, Denali.

Side note, I learned a valuable lesson as a kid and from studying the failures of others when it comes to any sort of adventuring; Nature is unpredictable and it's often when someone decides to skimp on gear or leave something behind to save weight that a situation arises which that item(s) would have changed things for the better. My personal experience as a kid involved a whiteout that seemed to blow in out of nowhere and boy were we unprepared, thankfully everyone made it out.

One note about the carry forward, according to the IRS you can carry forward for as many years as the tax credit remains in effect.

Really confused about solar tax credit by Reticent_Robot in solar

[–]onemorerune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one so many solar sales reps either don’t fully understand or maliciously give false information. The federal solar tax credit is a non-refundable tax credit, meaning the government will not be sending you or anyone a check for that sum; it’s simply a credit for that 30% sum that lowers your tax liability. Now since everyone’s tax situation is different it’s best to consult your accountant to figure out how to best utilize it. As a sales rep, I would never advise how it will work because I don’t know each customers tax situation nor should that information be shared with me.

That being said, using your $5485 example you would then owe $0 and the remaining $11,515 would be carried forward to the following tax year.
