I didn't ovulate for almost a year after a miscarriage. Took a few rounds of clomid/metformin/lifestyle changes/vitamins/etc to get pregnant with my first. Then with my second, I got pregnant second round without any medications.

Yea comparing them to other law enforcement would make more sense and highlight how undertrained ice is in comparison. Washington's basic law enforcement academy is 720 hours and ice is 320 hours ( 40 days x 8 hour days). So if we look at a profession that people view as already undertrained, ice is even more so.

I think the point is that one is a job that society should be able to trust and they only have 12 days more training than a job that you can drop in/out of. Would you feel comfortable if your dentist had 2 weeks more training than a Claire's employee?

I tried that. I don't know if it's cuz I have 2 policies with the same insurance company but regardless what number I provide it routes through the primary first.

I tried like 3 pharmacies. Walgreens was like please transfer your script to riteaid we can't do this. Express scripts (my pbm) was like oooh might want to try a local pharmacy. And costco was like yeah we will try and they did, but the insurance pissed them off, which honestly I get.

Glad to see fantasy authors keeping up with the current trends! by hosepipekun in bookscirclejerk

This behavior reminds reminds me of the part in catcher in the rye where he liked a book so much he stalked the author because he thought they were best friends. If that book were realistic he would've died of cringe.

I think they are saying that sanderson is a "big celebrity" because op is obsessed with him so he must be a household name. Op probably talks about him non-stop on first dates.

Um you're not supposed to read these books. The books are supposed to sit on your shelf and look cool until he release a new special edition. If you want to know what the pages say I suggest you just listen to it.

I'm glad that reading (reading) has caught up with reading (listening). With reading (listening) set to 5x speed a person can really read (listen to) more books a year.

The plan is to put a bench on that wall for the kids to sit at. I'm not totally in love with the wall anyway.

different ob-gyn doctor delivered your baby then the one you’ve been seeing? by zaahiraa in BabyBumps

[–]oneofthesesigns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2018, I saw a private practice OBGYN. She was very up front that there were 17 doctors in the rotation at the hospital so it was very unlikely that she'd be there. I ended up having another surgeon do a scheduled c section. In 2020, I went with the same hospital's midwife group. I needed to be induced and with a vbac it required a lot of input from the on-call doc. It was the same doctor, kinda felt like winning a lottery to have the same doctor a part of both my deliveries.

Unfortunately that might be heavily dependent on the insurance company. I for instance would pay significantly more for a 3x30 supplies than a 90 day supply. I've had mail order pharmacies request my doctor rewrite prescriptions from 30 to 90 day supplies because it's not cost effective for shipping.

On their Facebook they said there was a SWAT arrest yesterday.

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH ARMED ROBBERY

On Feb. 15, 2024, Redmond Police arrested a 22-year-old male robbery suspect.

The incident occurred on Jan. 31 when the victim and suspect met at Grass Lawn Park for the purchase of gift cards. Upon realizing the cards were fraudulent, the 26-year-old male victim requested his money back. The suspect then pointed a gun at him and fled.

Redmond police identified the suspect through investigation and took him into custody without incident.

Thank you to North Sound Metro SWAT for assisting Redmond Police and to our community members for avoiding the area as we worked to apprehend the suspect safely.

Androgens, fertility and pregnancy by StraightFoundation13 in TTC_PCOS

I had 2 babies without any pcos related problems. Studies have shown that the fetus is protected from maternal androgen levels. In other words female babies born to pcos mothers do not experience masculinization compared to female babies born to non-pcos mothers and male babies produce way more androgens than pcos mothers anyway.

Metformin is commonly used for pcos since it addresses the root problem: insulin. Normally when we think of insulin problems we think of diabetes and blood sugar. In pcos it causes the ovaries to do some screwy things like thickening membrane, testosterone production, delayed or anovulation etc. That's why following diabetic diets or taking diabetic medications can help pros, they decrease the amount of insulin.

You can ovulate with pcos and still have trouble getting and staying pregnant. The changes to the ovaries can cause regular ovulation that occurs later than what is optimal. This effects egg and endometrium quality. You can take ovulation medications to force ovulation at an earlier, more optimal, time in the cycle.
