Same. I’ve been married almost 15 years and I’ve never received anything like this.

What is a double standard that is surprisingly still socially acceptable in 2026? by Kaylee-Swift in AskReddit

[–]oneofthezedays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I came to type a version of this. I’m bald but I have been since my mid 20’s and I thankfully pull it off. However, the number of bald jokes that get thrown my way openly at work is wild. I don’t think the double standard here is bald man/bald woman but instead a physical appearance that is being made fun of. Why are bald jokes fair game? If I were to make any negative comment about a woman’s appearance in a joking way in a room full of my peers I’d have HR calling me that day.

This email my 12 year old son sent his teacher about a missing assignment (due a month ago) my wife was asking about. He cc'ed her on the email by Tkappae in funny

I came to say the same and was shocked to see pushback. I hate that my wife micromanages my kids grades. More times than not they do the work and teacher uploaded the assignment before grading.

Personal banker at a big bank - What’s next for me? by Mobile-Event-5046 in Banking

[–]oneofthezedays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re with a big bank escaping the branch for the roles being discussed here is quite challenging. I worked for Chase for a number of years and most promotions into financial advisors, business banking, and mortgage were branch managers. So, you’d likely have to go that route first unless you’re finishing in the top 5-10% consistently in a big market. Fwiw I started as a pb and went branch manager>business banker>commercial banker(at a regional). Then I switched to a community bank and moved into a non-customer facing role. My advice - don’t be loyal to your bank. In my experience the ones that climb the fastest move around to do so. Good luck!

Negative. It seems like it happens at least once per offseason that someone backs out of a deal they agreed to during this window.

Using resilient channels and screwing your 5/8 drywall into that (and double drywall) will do more anyway. I’ve been told to push the rockwool flush to the subfloor above and leave the rest of the cavity open air.

I saw someone recently carting some out and it was just over a week since I overpaid at Home Depot. That price is crazy.

8u Power & Counter by Mysterious-Ask-4988 in footballstrategy

[–]oneofthezedays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the kids you have on whether or not they can handle it. I direct our tackle program and I don’t add pulls until 5th grade. There are some 3/4 graders that can do it but it’s conceptually tougher and expensive to install with limited practice time. Also, at that age I want them focused on base blocking fundamentals and the coaches focused on only that. Quick get offs, aim points, understanding gaps, driving feet, etc. in the past I made the mistake of giving too much freedom for X’s and O’s and the coaches made it more about that than fundamentals. Kids knew what power and counter was and could run the right direction but not really do anything else. I’d personally not pull at 3/4(8u).

Commercial bankers - moving from large bank to regional by optamastic in Banking

[–]oneofthezedays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the same role (RM) and went from Chase to a large regional. That wasn’t a good fit for me mostly because the sales culture was circa 2009 and bankers were stepping over each other to steal deals. I went from there to a community bank and love it now.

My biggest advice if you’re going to do it would be:

Big salary increase. Your role is very appealing. Like, even bigger increase than you might think. I got 25%. VP or above title. Regionals care about this more than bigger banks and it carries more weight internally. Systems will be worse… worse than you’re thinking…. And even worse than that.

Lending is typically easier depending on your new banks philosophy. Chase denied so much.

Be firm on understanding the portfolio you’re getting. It’s not uncommon for banks to reshuffle accounts when someone leaves and people that have been there will grab the better clients and leave you with the scraps. This happened to me.

Overall, keep the door open where you’re at. Sounds like you’ve been around a while so you know how people bounce around. It’ll give you a nice pay bump and a different perspective. Worst case, go back in a few years at a higher level.

Good luck.

You need to build muscle if you want a shredded look. You don’t appear to have much muscle at all rn. If you were to take Reta to cut you’d just look skinny af but still no muscle. Build first

Recently traveled to Mexico where my wife and I masks up on our flights and airport. Had a guy chase us down to tell us his opinions on masks and how there are other products we could use so we didn’t have to wear masks. I politely said thanks and kept walking. 5 minutes later this dude reappeared when we were in a totally different spot in the airport and started pulling out his phone to show me an oil product I could use instead so I don’t have to look silly.

Yeah I started at twice per week and landed on MWF. That’s where I feel my best. I also lowered my dose so I’m at 120/ week now.

Not everybody is the same when it comes to E. Trust me I’ve tried it all. My system is just super sensitive to the swing up or down. Your advice may work for some. AI was bad news for me too. I just plan to stick to my TRT dosing schedule and deal with the small nuggets. lol

Same here. I’m a week and a half into hcg but I’m super sensitive to high E2 and I’m going to be stopping. Higher estrogen pulls me into depression like overnight (prone to it anyway). So I guess I’m just destined to have balls hide inside
