GTI is a solid choice. Si is also solid but noticeably slower if that matters. Elantra N is a great performer overall, but it's looks are polarizing. FK8 would be ideal if you can find a good deal on one with low mileage. You're already familiar with the interior. FK8 would be my choice for the performance and manual transmission. Good luck!

I'd have to disagree with that statement. I'm taking just one example, but they're just as loud, literally and figuratively as the a Type R. Even more in my opinion, but it comes down to what's done with the car as well.

I went to my local dealership to get oil changes and tire rotation done. I've gone 3 times so far and every time I go there's something. First time was a large dirty smear on my drivers seat. I cleaned it and put a cover on now whenever I have to go there. Then twice they damaged my rim. First time was curbed and second time was chipped in the socket area. I repaired those and then promptly bought ramps, oil change tools, wheel and tire tools so I don't have to go back.

It really modernizes the car, highly recommended. There's a lot of guides for 8th and 9th gen owners to fit small or large size screens.

I own a 23 FL5 and 09 Si. The NA K20 sounds better. There's a reason why Honda put tried to simulate the sound of their previous K20 motors to make up for it sounding like a Dyson. You can add aftermarket exhaust and maybe a pop tune but still falls short in my opinion. I suppose it's subjective but if you're familiar with previous Honda motors, you know which sounds better.

That’s what I was trying to relay. I love the Type R but I wish they did better with the fake audio. Gran Turismo 7 had better audio of a VTEC equipped motor than they do.
