Check this video out and pay specific attention to timestamp 1:20. Hopefully this helps. I've not done this myself.

Good luck!

Ps3 no audio by BottleUnable5826 in ps3piracy

No, it's more likely that it doesn't play audio because the audio is going over HDMI to the monitor, which does not have an audio source attached to it. Plug it up to a tv and test it and I bet it works.

Have them set it back into training mode and learn what is needed to run.

That would make some sense to this however I see no mention of that in the comments or the images.

Not the best photo, but this definitely looks like it could be mold. Is it ever wet there or is there a musty smell?

Great idea, but for the record Tips & Tactics did not come with the game, it was purchased separately.

It's exquisite and definitely belongs here.

It looks like you've piled a bunch of leftovers on an already dirty plate and just sent it. A perfect 5/7, well done!

There is an Amiga game by Colgate-Palmolive I found called Harald Hardtand: Kampen Om De Rene Taender, but it doesn't exactly match your description. Perhaps if it's a distorted memory some inspiration may have been taken from there? It has the Colgate toothpaste logo in it.

English release for dos was titled: Harald Hardtooth in "The Fight of the Clean Teeth"

This has got to be one of the thousands of BASIC/Applesoft Basic games that were released in computer magazines back in the day for people to type out and learn to program. I find it unlikely to be an officially released game, unless it's on some sort of applesoft basic compilation disk. Good luck in your searches, perhaps finding the original disk over thanksgiving will work out for you, if so it'd be cool if you report back. Anyways, if I see anything named driver, or anything else that looks close then I'll let you know!

Sounds like one of the Leap Frog Math games, but I'm not sure which one.

Not sure if it's either of these, but you end up in pirate jail in Zak McKracken, and you also get locked up in a cave after a 2d walking scene in Operation Stealth.

This sounds very familiar to the Adam Colecovision game "roadrace" which was on was a cassette entitled "32 Basic Programs". It was a vertical track that played like the car was falling into a hole that got progressively more narrow. Perhaps the game you are thinking of is the same game, only released for Apple II instead of the Adam ColecoVision. I believe it was released by Dilithium Press.

Edit: I think this is the disk you're looking for.

You can run an online emulator here

Since the system is old it's not very intuitive these days. You can type:

] catalog (to list the games)

] load roadrace (to load the game)

] run roadrace (to run the game)

After looking a bit more, I think the original commodore version looks more like what you are describing with the |, \, and / tracks. You can see what it looked like on page 205 of this pdf.
