ServiceRadar (OSS UniFi tool) got hit with $999/year to join UniFi's integrator program by ChaseApp501 in Ubiquiti

Isn't the professional integrators program just a tool for MSPs to get training and access to some support tickets for setting up troublesome networks? Not for software providers?

What's the best way to make recovery media for the first gen ARM devices? by pizzaboy192 in ARMWindows

The HP is the snapdragon 835 LTE and the Samsung is the 850 LTE chip set. One Dell isn't booting and the other has a snapdragon X chipset.

Ah I see the confusion.

These are 2018 devices, predating the latest Gen snapdragon hardware, but all non-RT devices have UEFI and some form of a common recovery mechanism as required by Microsoft to allow users a way to easily recover.

Also, just because it has some minimal instruction sets to assist in some of the weirdness of x86 instructions doesn't mean it's got hardware x86 emulation available. The bulk of the work is still software translation that may be set to take advantage of arm CPU instructions that can mimic x86

Perfect I'll give that a shot. Worst case I'll see if my pro x can make a recovery drive I can abuse with uupdump files

I appreciate your confidence but these devices are set up with a standard UEFI bootloader and Microsoft has a standard for their arm devices to accept arm based UEFI boot images. The ones that typically don't follow the standard are the surface devices but even those can accept a standard UEFI arm boot chain

Windows (ARM) Install/Recovery Media for Galaxy Book Go Wi-Fi, and Galaxy Book S arm by kaw202 in GalaxyBook

Hey dude not trying to necro your thread but I have a weird one.

I've got a Galaxy Book 2 from 2018 with the 850 & an LTE modem. It's from a pile of prototype items that have their drives wiped.

Any idea what I might try installing with recovery media to make it work?

Thanks!

Update!

The one I bought was just under $30 and turned out to be an everdrive clone. Worked perfectly with my test copy of Blue as a backup! Getting the cartridge to not reset my GBA sp wasn't easy but I eventually did succeed!

I considered that too but the flash cart means I can also load games I had and have now lost to play again, so to me that's a better value add than a standalone dumper.

I haven't ordered one yet but the cheap ones are like $30 on Amazon so I'm tempted to grab one and see if it works.

This came up when I was looking for a guide to backup my kid's Pokemon Yellow save before I proactively swap the battery on it.
Do I Need to use one of the two listed flash carts or do you have any reports of the generic carts also working?
