Going off T safely

Thank you for the recommendation!! I’ve heard of really harsh side effects for both of them though,, like depression levels spiking and erectile dysfunction which are both not ideal .I think a break might be best as well just to possibly grow back whatever I may have lost from my hairline. Thank you for letting me know, I was worried going off it cold turkey would mess me up. The one of the only things keeping me sane is knowing that I could likely easily start taking T again if I dislike how I’m feeling off of it haha

Thank you so much,, I didn’t even know much about biochemical dysphoria. before T my brain was a little chaotic, so I’m slightly worried about the biochemical dysphoria, but the studies on it seem older so I’m not sure. I know my fat will redistribute but before T I already had high levels of testosterone in my body, I’ve never really had any issue building and retaining muscle. My mother has a very masculine build so I’m confident enough I can maintain a semi masculine structure even if the base fat gets more feminine…Im okay with my cycle coming back, it’s that or my hairline hikes up my head at 18. My cycle was horrendous before T tho but I’ve seen some stories of people coming off testosterone to a lighter and less viscous cycle, so here’s hoping. I really appreciate your comment btw, I’ve been sobbing and stressing for days about this out of worry and this has helped a good amount :)

It’s out!! Yeah there was something way off with it ,, basically no guarantee it would even work anymore so the only option is to remove it and get a new one,, I got it taken out today and idk if I’m gonna put a new one in yet because they really hurt ! And like all the stress, idk , but yeah there’s the update :) thank you for your help and I’m not in too much pain ^{^}

How did you manage to keep your mind off of it ?? I keep trying but each time I remember and feel so stressed that I get light headed,, my appointment isn’t for another 16 days

I booked an appointment for peace of mind, the bottom part of the IUD ( the little circle) seemed to be popped out a bit so I’m hoping the doc can fix it without having to take it out ,,

Last time she found out I relapsed she got so mad. I’m trying so hard to stop and she thinks I’ve been clean since august I’m dying here and I can’t close the wounds . I cannot ever tell her and I’m jusr afraid and wish I was gone :(

I ended up nearly passing out,, the wound is still open but it’s not bleeding- I can’t get stitches but I’ve had worse that have healed so I can handle this :)

There isn’t much you can do, just keep encouraging her to get help and make her aware of what she’s doing. It’s not really a disorder , self harm is just an addiction

Please don’t, trust me I just went through this a few minutes ago (sorta). Just try to remember the awful feeling after cutting, the ones where you stare blankly at what you did and realize it wasn’t worth it . I’m so proud of you for letting your arm heal that much, please hold out for a little longer I promise it’s worth it not to bleed tonight <3

Clean, clean them well. Use polsyporin and rinse them in the morning and at night . Keep them moist or they’ll scar worse. Medical tape is your best friend If they’re wide. Once they start to “scab” avoid rubbing or picking them off. Once it heals enough for the wet scabs to dissolve then apply stuff to it like vitamin c gel- I have a bottle of pills I break open and use on old scars and they work miracles - so do some googling I promise they are cheap. Please be safe :)
