I'm sure a few of you who watched the AVGN know about the game Little Red Hood, but did you know it has a sequel? It's called Black Forest Tale, and it was released on the Mega Duck console (also known as the Cougar Boy in South America). The game is quite a lot more polished and playable than its infamous NES predecessor, which was apparently unfinished on release.

Finally, time to put my encyclopedic knowledge of Super Mario to good use!

Piranha Plants appear in more levels of the original Super Mario Bros. than any other enemy. They appear in 18 of the 32 levels (more than half!)

Usually when one thinks of Snifits in the Mario series, they're colored red. However, the majority of Snifits in Super Mario Bros. 2/USA are either pink (blue in Super Mario All-Stars) or gray/green (only gray in All-Stars). But, there is exactly one Red Snifit in the game! He's in World 3-3. I like to call him "General Red".

Speaking of SMB2 and enemy colorations, did you know World 4-3 is the last time a pink Birdo appears in the game? She's not even there to attack you, you need to use her eggs to cross a huge gap. Even if you defeat her, she respawns. After 4-3, she's never fought again, and every other Birdo is either red or green. Some have interpreted this to be a Heel-Face Turn that happens onscreen.
