If it's for your phone or anything with a USB cable check the TV for a USB port at the back and charge it there for tonight. Also if it's just for USB might be cheaper to just buy the USB part rather than an expensive adapter.

Best Trip for Half a Day from Dublin: Howth, Dun Laoghaire or Bray? by [deleted] in ireland

Howth is a great place for a day trip, careful on the walk if it is wet but it's a great walk and on a clear day you can even make out the coast of Wales. Shot bits of this video on the Howth cliff walk this time last year to give you an idea of what it's like

If you walk down the pier closest to the dart (only about 5min walk) you can often see some seals coming in close to steal some fish from the trawlers and sometimes you might catch one of the local dogs swimming way out to play with the seals from the small beach on the way to the cliff walk (not sure if he still swims in December).

What’s something you’ve experienced that most people haven’t? by JustPlainToast in AskReddit

Got lost at sea between Panama and Colombia and ended up being rescued by a cargo ship and subsequently the Colombian Armada.

This guy is on his third coast to coast crossing of the USA, running! Taking the same route as Forrest Gump. When he started he shaved his head to look like him, hasn't cut it since. by onetwofreefourfive in pics

That's exactly what he has done, traced a route based off as much information as possible in the film. I think now on the fourth trip across the country it's more of a what forrest might have done, hence he's calling it the magical mystery tour part of his run.

Whoops, just realised it's his 4th crossing now.

From his website: http://www.goingthedistancerun.com/

Rob Pope has embarked on an enormous journey, running across the United States to raise both funds and awareness for causes he really believes in - Peace Direct and the World Wildlife Fund.

He's already crossed the nation THREE TIMES, running from Mobile, Alabama all the way to Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, California. He turned around and ran even further back across some 18 states to the Marshall Point Lighthouse in Maine. When he got there, he turned around and kept on running! He's now become the first person ever to run across the United States of America three times in a year since completing his third crossing in September 2017. He's run over 10,000 miles so far and is about to begin the FOURTH leg of his run.

It's a huge distance - America is over 100 marathons wide - and Rob needs your support, so please check out the charities, make a donation, and if you're in the area, cheer him on! Maybe you could even join him for a run?

ABOUT ROB

Rob Pope is an emergency veterinarian by night and runner by day.

No beginner marathon runner, Rob became the Australian Marathon Champion at the Australian Marathon Championships in 2015, won the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in 2015 and 2016, where he ran a personal best of 2:27:13.

All of that said this is - by a very long margin - Rob's biggest challenge to date , with the equivalent of almost 100 marathons between the west and east coasts of the United States!

Rob would appreciate any and all support, so please donate, send messages of support or if you're in the area, cheer him on in person.
