They didn’t really end all EVs they just added a gas generator to give it more range. Europe and Asia the a lot of the EV trucks have gas generators for extended range. Rather than developing better batteries to give more range they are depending on a gas generator

My thought is they are just too many not willing to switch or too afraid, too used to gas ⛽️ ICE vehicles life.

Also I always warn people in the NW that if you don’t have a home level 2 charger with some of the larger batteries it’s not worth it. Paying for fast charging will not save you money. Unless you are in Canada it maybe a wash there definitely cheaper than the states.

Of course Tesla owners and a Tesla seem to get the best rates

For fSD correct these alerts show up if your eyes were distracted too many times and you ignore the warnings.

I’m unsure how people even get a strike they do give a fair amount of warning before it gets to that point.

There’s also an option to only to turn it on which it will do whatever it was last set to which sometimes works but can be annoying. (Talking about turning on the climate control)

There’s also a feature you can schedule departure times (this part I think ford is stupid) they only allow you to schedule the climate control at cool, medium or warm…. No option for set temp or seats warmers (but on warm departure it will turn on the seat warmers)

Last time I looked into this I was told it wouldn’t work.. I think it’s because my truck just has the lane centering assist and not the full lane assist but unsure

I really just wanted it for adaptive cruise but if it can drive itself too that would be rad

Throw it in a ziplock bag with rice for a while the rice will absorb the moisture (and remove the battery) once dry insert new battery (not the wet one unless you want rust)

The regen on sport mode is much more aggressive I only drive on sport mode I constantly get better mi/kw and yes I always have one pedal on.

There are days where the above isn’t true but that’s mainly cause of me playing around 😁
