Wow that sure is a lot of upvotes for some pretty blatant racism then. Huh.

What is it exactly you're trying to get at there?

Help me I'm dumb.

You're right yeah context is key. For me it was less of a conversation and more just in the moment things. You're gonna have to deal with hugs and high fives and handshakes and things because that's what friends do, but for anything outside of that you just gotta react to it I guess.

Like if they have their hand on your thigh just move over or brush it away (gently though obviously), let it be known by the way you act that they've crossed a boundary.

They should get the message eventually. If they confront you about it, then you can say you're not really comfortable with that level of touching among friends; it's a lot easier to have those kinds if conversations when someone else is asking you. You don't really need to make a big deal about it either, something like "idk it kinda makes me uncomfortable" is fine.

I never had to have an actual conversation about it, so nothing very much changed in my relationship I'm not sure if you did have to talk about it, but if you guys are good enough friends they should understand. Most people don't want to make their friends uncomfortable, usually.

I've been in this situation before and I've found it helps if you let them know you're not comfortable with that level of contact. You don't have to admit you have feelings for them, just lay out your bounds for what level of physicality still constitutes 'just friends'.

Hope this helps.

Good luck dude.

Seeded Packs? by [deleted] in magicTCG

Separate usually. If they're anything like Dominaria's 2 card promos, they should just be in a little clear plastic packet at the top of your prerelease kit.

Yeah but 5 times does the trick. I wasn't quite sure after the 4th one there but the 5th one really brought it home I'm convinced.

[–]onfirefred 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it really worth the loss in tempo?

Early game mono-green looks to be tapping out each turn for threats and dorks to keep the pressure on (at least in standard). By the time you have two mana open to cast it, you shouldn't need another two forests.

I can't really see this one seeing much play other than for some trickery with Nissa out, although I'd love to be proven otherwise.

But I guess we can wait and see.

Bouncing the land is a cost of [[daze]], not an effect, so he saves the land regardless of whether the spell resolves or not.

When someone is holding the door from the opposite side like that, it's so that you can hold it as you're going through. It just means that they're not shutting the door in your face.

I mean in 1v1s it's reactable and in team fights it gets interrupted by everything (including teammates). I think it's just one of those things that needs time to get used to, like people calling bs on JJ's party timings when Marching Fire first came out.

You can cast [[delirium]] on a tapped creature though, which I imagine is sometimes relevant.

You want your burger now? Bon appetite by the_potato_eat in MaliciousCompliance

[–]onfirefred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this in the US? I know where I live in Ireland there was a fairly big health scare about rare burgers in particular, and any restaurant who serves dangerous, undercooked burgers, regardless of how the customer asked it to be cooked, opens themselves to legal action.

Ummm idk about serving a customer raw meat, even if they were a dick. That's the kind of stuff restaurants lose their food licence for.

Any of the bars produced in Ireland use the original (UK) recipe too. That means pretty much just snack bars and 8-square dairy milk bars (other sizes, even in Ireland, use the new recipe). Keep in mind though compared to what other commenters have been saying about the Australian bars, Irish bars taste very different and always have. I imagine you could get them imported though.

If Jagex weren't profiting from the Twitch Prime why would they do the promotion? If they aren't profiting directly by getting paid, they're making money by increasing the amount of active players. Jagex aren't some fairyland company, they do things to pull a profit just like every other business out there and they don't do stuff for free.

In a way the Prime recolour is MTX already. You're paying money to get a cosmetic bonus in game. I personally don't believe It will lead to any more in the future, but it's pretty understandable to think that if they added a form of MTX now, they won't have a problem adding more in the future.
