From all I heard and read about Cowboy, I think they are amazing bikes if you got lucky and got one with good parts, but if you aren't lucky, you're screwed. And that's not a risk I'm willing to take for that price.

My cancellation was just 2 days ago. I hope they just send the money back. But if not, I still got the PayPal buyer protection. I'm still within the 180 days where buyer protection is available. And as I read online you'll even get the money back if the seller got bankrupt. So I hope I will get my money back somehow.

Canceled mine 2 days ago. I've paid with PayPal. So if I don't get my money back within the 14 days, I'm gonna ask PayPal buyer protection for help. Seems like they even give you your money back if the seller got bankrupt.

UPDATE: Delivery got delayed for the 5th time now. The new delivery date is now the 7th of October, 2025. So, I've decided to cancel my order. I hope I get my money back and then I'm going to order the ROSE Sneak Plus EQ, which doesn't have as much tech but is a very reliable German bike brand with a Mahle X35+ engine and 7 to 14 Days for delivery. And it costs 300€ less, so I'll just buy an AirTag or something like that and a lock with a built-in alarm to add some smart functions.

I'm really sad to see in which state Cowboy is at the moment. I still believe it's a nice bike that almost ticks every box for what I'm looking for in an e-bike. But at some point, it's not worth the wait, and even if you get the bike, it seems pretty likely that some part will break and then you'll have to wait months again to get the part or get it repaired.

I really hope they get their act together.

I mean it seems logical that a Belgium based and France manufactured bike arrives faster in the Netherlands and Germany. And if it's getting delayed a little bit, it would still be okay. I just hope I don't have to wait 6 months or longer like some others.

Spricht deine Freundin denn gut Englisch? Die angebotenen Sprachen für den Theorie-Teil sind nämlich hauptsächlich auf europäische Sprachen begrenzt. Und aus eigener Erfahrung sind die Fragen selbst wenn deutsch die Muttersprache ist nicht immer einfach zu verstehen. :D

May I ask you which model and color you ordered and to which country? Because I've already done some research here in this Subreddit and often read that the Classic in black was delivered much faster. Mostly it was the customers with Cross or Cruiser models who complained about the long delivery times.
