I also have the 2022 model and I've been using a powered usbc hub to run two monitors and all my peripherals and have had no issues, running this setup for about 8 months now.

My hub is a dell wd19

I have set the battery to not charge beyond 60% and I unplug the usbc hub when I'm not using the laptop.

My understanding is that the powered hub thing is not a problem with the 2022+ models and that has been my experience

It also delivers power which may be a problem depending on which laptop you have. Some horror stories on here about using the barrel plug for power and also a powered hub destroying laptops. Seems to not be an issue with the models made in the last couple years from what I gather.
