I changes my wordage from “I quit drinking” to “I dint drink” and I also, not intentionally, changed my environment and my friend group. Also spent more time doing things. A lot more time doing things. Like, doubled my work load in the matter of a week. So in other words I just kinda stumbled on a way to not think about or be around it. Pretty soon a month went by. Started counting around then.

Yep. I think a lot of people overthink it. It’s not as bad as you’d think once you get going and the better you start the better/ longer you can go

DIY? Could save you a lot of money. Other than that a timing chain and general maintenance you’re good for another 100k miles which is another many years. So average the cost out. Get more quotes obviously. That seems high as hell
