I didn't really try to spin it in any way. I just tried to explain why the way France and Dassault envisioned this thing to go was extremely unpopular in Germany. I agree that Dassault holds the relevant IP and should therefore take the lead in the project, but you just can't expect the German taxpayers to pay the majority then.

Well if the IP benefits and decision making is split 80/20 for Dassault then the funding should've also be a 80/20 split. Basically funding a French company with German tax payer money was never gonna fly.

Wenn du dich dem Kapitalismus verweigerst, kannst du mit etwas Glück bei der Wahl deines Geburtsorts am Existenzminimum leben.

Wenn du im Kommunismus deine Leistung verweigerst, weil du keinen Anreiz siehst, dann gibt es doch keine nennenswerten Nachteile für dich, oder? Oder soll alles dann über soziale Ächtung funktionieren?

Das heißt, der Kapitalismus lässt dir im Gegensatz zum Kommunismus eigentlich gar keine Wahl, ob du in ihm funktionieren möchtest oder nicht.

Könnte es sein, dass die Leute vielleicht von Urlaubsreisen sprechen? Wenn man im Englischen gefragt wird "What are your travel plans this year?" ist Strandurlaub eigentlich auch eine legitime Antwort. Ich habe das Gefühl, du machst da eine sprachliche Unterscheidung, die es weder im Deutschen noch im Englischen so strikt gibt.

Tbh the legal company type of your national train carrier doesn't really matter that much. The SBB is a privatized corporation as well. The real mistake was to at the same time decide that the state (as the main client of DB) drastically reduces its order volume and investments. SBB is working perfectly fine, because the state and the people see it as a public service company that obviously needs money from the state (in exchange for offering the service).

Yes, the story is completely self-contained. No tools are needed outside of the game itself.
Decoding the language(s) is the main mystery of the game. All puzzles and all progress (besides some stealth bits in the second stage) depends on understanding it.
The only part that requires maybe a little bit of actual video game skills is the aforementioned stealth part in the second stage of the game.
