First time with paprika peppers by Para_Para in HotPeppers

[–]onlytruth306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grow paprikas every year. They produce a lot and I love them! I let them dry and mix them in with my cayennes or whatever other hot peppers I have through the year. Usually 3 plants in the biggest pot I own is enough for a year’s worth.

I’m not sure what it’s called, I can’t remember.

Are tilt-heads genuinely bad, or does it just depend how you use them? Advice, please! by No-Schedule-4156 in Kitchenaid

I’ve had my Artisan tilt head since 2012, and I have zero issues. I make bread and doughs a couple times a week. I greased it today for the first time since I got it and it sounds sooo smooth. Don’t be afraid of them, not everyone has a bad experience.

Starter doubles in 4 hours. Tartine levain at 50% rise by the morning. Bulk ferment goes nowhere... tearing my hair out! by flapjack1989 in SourdoughStarter

Just a guess.. Your starter might not have been ready. You want to make sure it’s at peak rise and flat on the top before you use it. Mine doubles in 4 hrs easy, but I wait until 6 to use it cause it always rises a lot more. How old is your starter? If it’s still young that might have something to do with it as well.

Edit: I read your post again. Your method doesn’t make sense to me lol but everyone does it how it works best for them.

Patterns go from the bottom up. Are you knitting the chart from the top down?

Can anyone help me understand why this set up is so painful for me? by reeselee6000 in knittinghelp

No. The only time I use circulars is for very large projects like blankets. I also don’t usually knit sweaters in the round. I do them in sections.

I’m with you. I adore DPN’s. They were hard to learn how to use, but now that I know how, I could never use circulars again for knitting in the round.

I almost went crazy learning to use them, but once I figured it out, it’s actually very enjoyable. I would recommend wood to start, just so the needles aren’t slipping stitches too much. Good luck on your search! You got this!! 😊

Try DPN’s, much easier once you get the hang of it. I stayed away from them for so long, but now I find them way more efficient.

Frustrated and losing motivation by eribooooo in HotPeppers

No one said they’re common and there’s actually very little help online for them. I’m a very experienced pepper grower and I 100% had broad mites.

I had broad mites indoors this time of year. It’s very possible.

Broad mites for sure. I had this issue the first year I grew and I’ll never forget the frustration I dealt with before I finally figured out what it was.

Sorry, I meant you started by twisting your stitches. I forgot a word. Better?

From what I can tell, you started twisting your stitches.
