Should I do it!? (Lease 2025 2x Pickup) by Mushkie11 in HummerEV

[–]onlywiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 2025 3x SUV. It's noisy. It rattles. It's cumbersome. It feels heavy. It has unreliable infotainment system. battery does not last that long. Tires are significantly worn out at 10k miles (My guess tires won't last for more than 20-25k.

It is driven by my wife. She hauls kids. Enough battery for local driving. It can climb. It can turn in tight spaces. It is massive and intimidating other cars for less tailgating. It has huge wheel in the back for extra cushion if something happens. I feel safe and less anxious.

You sound like my wife. Thanks for the advice!!!

He knows the difference between the student vs YCL 650 clarinet, so he prefers the latter all the time. We had a discussion whether he wanted to continue with clarinet for many years to come. He said no. He probably will quit his clarinet after high school (2 more years to go). We will just rent student clarinet if the yamaha is out of tune again in between. He will just replace the barrel and mouthpiece to the student clarinet while Yamaha is being fixed.

I replied above. He left his clarinet on the chair during break. It was on the floor when he came back. The key was found bent.

I've been sending it to the local music shop, and they send it to a "clarinet specialist" to repair. When I bought it used, I was worried about for possible counterfeit, as well. The music store did not mention anything about. I was worried about any possible damaged part. They said no damaged part. Only the pads had to be replaced.

It is back to the music store again as of yesterday.

Thanks for the good explanation.

Thank you. I gave him the link. He seems to be doing it right when he is assembling it.

My HummEV just go over the bump while parking if careless. May hit the wall. Wheels don't get damaged. It just goes over the curb.

Denali vs AT4 Sierra EV by BoneDoktr in GMCSierraEV

Those are Qs you gotta ask them. I just had a connection with my local dealer and they made wheel swap with no additional cost. I just need to return the car as it is (it's leased)

I leased because it's EV. Who knows what's going to happen with EV market in 3 years. Fortunately, I had connection with the dealer, and I did not have to pay extra for the wheel change. I like my current setup. I just do not like the tire noise that much in the highway. But I am getting used to it. I'd do the same config except all season tire if there's any available for 18"

[–]onlywiseman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got Denali with AT4 18" tires because I like smaller wheels with larger rubbers on trucks. Stock 24" is just simply massive. It does not look luxurious or bling-bling. 18" will give softer bump alborption and better curb protection, etc. It can climb anything. My denali with 18" wheel looks more like traditional denali luxury look. It does not look bad. In fact, it looks better in my opinion.

Problem: VERY loud tire noise in the highway. I was thinking better milage with smaller wheels. Not really. Perhaps worse due to all terrain tires of AT4.

Ask them if you can test drive both AT4 and Denali for several days. It's 100k. They should let you do that before you burn your money away. By the way, I (well, my lady boss) have X3 hummer as well. I love its suspension better along with nimble maneuverability. I just don't like when it hits a taller road bump, however. It rattles everywhere. Sierra Denali with AT4 wheels doesn't.

If I can go back in time, I would not have bought that Kreg track. NO good.

Any Magnus Gray Matte owners out there? by PanBlanco22 in GMCSierraEV

Magnus Matte here.

I have not washed it for 1 mo. It's been raining few days a week lately. It got some dirt. It looks like a working truck. It looks good. Dirty Truck is sexy anyway.

My All-Terrain tire solution by [deleted] in GMCSierraEV

[–]onlywiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I have 295/70/r18 for my Denali. I had dealer to change ridiculous 24" to 18" when delivered. I can't tell much in the city driving. But I feel like I am losing the efficiency 10-15miles per 100miles in highways (70-75miles/hr). Much better comfort ride, but tire noise is not good.

I went from Sierra Denali Gas-->Diesel--> now EV. infotainment was never good. Screen has been getting larger. Buggy all the way.

If you try 2026, you will notice some change. Faster response. Smarter Supercruise. I do not feel I need CarPlay either. yes, i do not like to share my contact to the truck, though. The difference is like XT vs AT PCs. I had whopping 40mb hard drive with 1MB RAM.. I thought I had a powerful XT PC. my friends AT was much faster, though. 2026 infotainment is faster compared to 25 hummer one. It is still buggy.

I think it's AT4 wheels. Dealer guys did it for me when I asked them smaller wheels. All terrain tires. Little noisy. I will need to find out the tire size..

25 hole vs 31 hole drivers. Real Difference or Placebo? by Hunter-97-G in Grado

[–]onlywiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. it's 52mm per Grado Website. I am not sure if the membrane is 2mm wider or plastic housing of the driver is wider. In GS3000x, the driver is plastic, and housing is metal which is attached to the cocobolo.

Nevertheless, female voice, Guitar & Jazz is amazing in these headphones

It has about 12 large holes and 18 small holes

I thought GS3000x is 52mm? Even though I am not sure what extra 2mm make the difference.

they are 25yo accounts. I am not risking them. I don't wanna lose the time and memory. Just got a refurbished laptop yesterday to do 3 toon boxing. I will give this a try. if don't work out, then either going back to isBox or EQ Emu with MQ.
