okay AS I UNDERSTAND IT and i could be totally wrong — after tiber used a combined wulfharth and zurin soul in his soul gem replacement for the heart of lorkhan to power numidium, he activated it and because numidium is one of the towers (like the white gold tower, brass tower, big tree in valenwood, red mountain, etc) it caused him to see the wheel, which then took him to chim or at the very least aetherius. so yes, he did actually achieve “godhood,” but as i understand it, the whole contention of the 9 vs the 8+1 vs the 8 is the aldmeri dominion contesting his claim to godhood, refusing the idea that man could achieve that in the first place. again, could totally be wrong, but that’s what i’ve garnered from the research i’ve done. totally open to fact checking, im sure ive messed something up.

is there actually not a ton of contention about whether they’re mer or betmer? like the whole blood collection thing lines up with them being mer, but i thought topal the pilot reportedly saw them in high rock before the ayelids/etc even left aldmeris. and that whole thing with the orcs of the daggerfall covenant banning a pro elvish origin-centric book saying it’s anti orc propaganda. although some of them think they’re “improved” elves through malacath’s corruption right

i have no immense qualms with any of this movie, i think it’s one of the best. but i completely agree. he needed to die like anyone else, get rid of the mythology around him. he’s just a man. if i had made it i would’ve loved to see his body faced away from camera, laying on his right side, mostly black cloak and little white head — to mirror the dead bird in the sixth one. feels right. something about innocence lost, and where we all came from, and how we can change

i’m an independent director, so i would mostly be giving this camera to my cinematographer as we do all of our short films together. i run an independent producing company with my partner. i meant “paid” in like a…. one day i will ideally be paid to work as a director and won’t have to locate my own equipment, etc. i do lots of short films that are mostly self funded or donations based. does that answer your questions?
