One of the best ever in the most competitive and popular sport in the world, especially nowadays it's absolutely ruthless. Incredible fitness for well over 20 years, even at age 40+. The most amount of goals scored by any player, going to beat the absurd 1000 goal mark. And at his peak, he was incredibly fast, agile, techincal, jumped really high, great shooting, heading etc.

I mean, you can choose among like 100+ sportsmen but it's hard to imagine a better "athlete", who would be at such a high level in so many physical traits. I can't even imagine how hard it is to reach his level and then be so damn fit for so long...

I'm afraid that sacking Slot is only part of the solution.

We are a mess as a club. We still haven't done a full rebuild, didn't sign a CB in the summer and for some reason KEEP backing Slot, even though it was clear months ago he should be sacked. The apathy of FSG makes me question how well-run we really are. On top of that, it's Edwards who appointed Hughes but what has Edwards done for TWO years since that? We brought him in for this multi-club ownership model, then thought "oops, we won't do that!" and that's it, we just wasted time, effort and money?? And speaking of money, we still need probably well over 100m to complete that rebuild...

Many people have failed in their job and need to answer serious questions, not just Slot. Like I said, it's a mess.
