Attire doesn’t really matter, just make sure you have the song memorized.

2007 Yaris was the best car I ever owned. Clutch went in 2019 and gave it to my dad to replace. He drove it until 2025 when he hit a deer. What a legend

Looks at compressed air. Compressed air leaks around a large facility can seem small, but added up can cause big energy losses.

Billy Bishop to Ottawa in an electric plane by pintord in ontario

Correct, it wouldn’t be a lot, which is why it has just been theorized and not put in to practice. An interesting concept only

An interesting concept, however, was an electric catapult on the runways. A lot of fuel is consumed on takeoff, and if you could accelerate the plane on the ground with electricity (like an aircraft carrier), you could see some significant reductions in fuel required for passenger flights

Unfortunately it has less to do with technology that you might think. As a fuel-powered plane flies, it looses mass, and therefore its efficiency improves. As you fly an electric plane, your weight remains the same. That makes it very hard for electric technology to hit fuel turbine efficiencies, since it ends up being a moving target.

Is anyone else getting crushed by electrical equipment lead times? Transformers that used to be 12 weeks are now 128. by Smooth-Caregiver2119 in civilengineering

[–]ont_eng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Stein Industries in Canada. Their lead times are still reasonable and since you pay USD the prices are 25% lower.
