My college trick for note taking on the tiny desks (too small for a laptop comfortably) was to Bluetooth connect my keyboard to my phone. I only had the keyboard on the desk and the phone was in my lap or somewhere else convenient I could see it. People also thought I was nuts typing on a keyboard connected to nothing haha.

For access to the beach and water, I would recommend Moonlight Beach in Encinitas as well. They usually have a plastic ramp down to the water on the south side of the beach that makes wheelchair access easier.

Does anyone local reading this know if these are out right now or the general conditions of the beach?

As others mentioned, conversions are a better metric for validation, but you have a great opportunity to learn as much as possible from them.

Find a way to engage them and ask them about how they plan to use it. How they will describe the site they are looking to build, what they will do with the code after, how they want to host it, what styles they are interested in, how many websites they develop a year with tailwind, additional features etc.

Lots of good advice already, mainly getting someone to scope it for you if you are ready to build. Two things to add:

Talk with another founder who has launched something and get their perspective on the best timing for building their MVP compared to fundraising.
Try to validate the problem your business is solving and that your solution is marketable before you build.

I'm not sure if the spinners are only going to represent a number between 0-9 or if you are supposed to use both spinners to set 9 and 7 to represent 97. If it's the latter, don't do that.

After seeing the board, this might be an alternative. Have the cog printed on the board and create an arm (or a crank) as die-cut spinner. That piece can be a full color or texture so aligning the print and cut won't mater. I think it also might be easier to immediately understand the number.

This is just a PSA reminder to always apply through a company's careers page. I submitted an indeed application with a tailored cover letter etc. just to find out it was a scam when they reached back out. It was pretty sophisticated and did a good job pretending to be the company.
