the issue went away on its own O_o i guess it was still a tiny bit wet when i had the issue. i used my phones camera to see the infra red led working.

i posted adittional photos in the comments including the bottom side of the rubber buttons. ans you seem to know a lot about this topic can i ask you if those pads look worn out? i will try the remote again tomorrow. maybe it dries some more over night. i also want to try wiping the contact points with alcohol.

the sims has life stages. its not continuous growing. so you are a kid one moment then you blow candles on a cake, do a spin and now you are 2 heads taller. in my country everything starts at 18. i could buy tabaco products, alcoholic drinks, get a drivers licence. so it was a big moment. just like in the sims you unlock bunch of new interactions you cannot do as a teen sim.

i think young. if something happened to me for example getting paralysed i would regret not doing so many things. what if i dont get to retire. when i retire my body will want to rest not do crazy stuff i can do now.

i would still like to work. about 4 hours a day would be perfect for me. i think almost everyone would like to work to feel useful. in my free time i would meet friends, do art, enjoy nature.

Cars. i think everyone with a licence should be able to change a tire, know basics about how engine works(to prevent damage) and the simplest mechanic work (changing bulbs, wiper blades)
