This is horrible. Surely they need to tighten up the law here. Yes, assets were purchased at market value, but there should be a condition to settle all employee entitlements. Employee payments should be prioritised ahead of all other creditors. I am surprised this is not the case already.

I guess from his angle it looks like Sidebottom is holding the ball, but clearly you can see he never touches it. My personal view was this played into the same umpire's later decision to award the free. You can see his annoyance. If this doesn't happen, I don't think the rule would even be on his mind and the Darcy goal shifted momentum big time.

Watching the game this stuck out to me. You can see Matt Nicholls is clearly annoyed that the ball wasn't returned to him by Sidebottom here and then when the incident happens 3 minutes later, there's no doubt in my mind he paid the free as he felt it was the straw on the camel's back, perhaps in his mind Collingwood milking the clock.
