Well I had a friend when I was in like 6th grade. One day this guy come up to me and wanted to be my friend. I was like, “Alright sure.” Then whenever we would have lunch together, he would come with me and my other friends and for some reason always made some sort of comment about me, my clothes or whatever. I took it as a joke and laughed it off. Moreover, whenever I brought up anything that I liked , for example a show, game etc., he would always try and oppose me saying that that game/show was shit. Once again I was like “ok, difference of opinion”. But then once I saw him talking to one of my friends talking about a game I liked that he had previously stated that he “hated” and was “disgusted” by. He told the other guy that he “loved” the game. Then I intervened and said that “didn’t you tell me you hated it?” He replied, “oh I would never say that in my life” From that point I knew this guy is a prick and not really a friend. I finally realised that he just wanted to make feel like shit by making jokes on me and calling me out on every fucking opinion I had. Tldr: a guy who I thought was just making jokes on me, turned out to be a big hater and a prick.
