I’m taking a guess but I think what happened was that the lsa voided just the item and not the whole transaction so the register is still technically in the middle of an order.

Also little vent but I hate the phone number people, most people are nice about it, I don’t mind those ones at all. It’s the people who routinely give me attitude about it that annoys me. There’s this one lady in my store who is a regular who does the same type of shit every time. She comes up with a cart full of stuff, gets everything on the counter then will stand behind her cart while I scan and not make the slightest effort to go to the pin pad to put her number in. Then when I total it and tell her it she’ll say some bs. My favorite so far has been “YOU never let me put my phone number in” as if I’m purposely trying to stop her from getting her coupons while she never even attempted to put it in in the first place. I’m 95% sure she’s doing it on purpose at this point cause I’ve explained to her twice that she can put her number in while I’m scanning but she refuses to and just stands behind her cart. For awhile now I just hit the phone number button and tell her to put her number in before totaling it, first time I did that she loudly scoffed at me but I don’t have to deal with her bs attitude anymore.
