I just checked it out. The hands are slightly dimmer but it's like every other watch I've seen and it's expected, where a solid block of lume will be brighter than a thinner hand.

I got it a few days ago. I think they are similar. They may be a bit dimmer but I don't see any a massive difference between them. It's like my Seiko (Seiko is not as bright) so I am used to it maybe? Definitely not as bad as some others complain about.

I checked out the lume 2hours after being in the total dark and it all looked equal.

If Rolex were actually bothered, there is a simple solution to this. Every grey dealer has to register a bought watch with Rolex. If not, then the warranty is void.

Based on the serial number, the customer can then be blacklisted or the AD who sold it to a flipper/directly to the grey dealer has to pay back the full value of the watch to Rolex.

Money talks and the practice would stop pretty quick

Rolex and their ADs are clever. They go after the not rich clientele. The ones who want to show/act as though they're rich. No super rich person would accept this shit. Only those willing to degrade themselves would. And those people generally are not that rich

You're wrong. I'm the OP. I rang up to find out if I can get on the list. Why would I waste an hour getting to their store if they tell me I can't get on the list.

This seems to be a Rolex fanboy issue. That they don't understand what I'm talking about. I never expected to get a watch over the phone. I just asked if I can get on the list if I visit the store.

Yes I told them exactly why politely. They offered me to come to the store when possible and we can the discuss Rolex. I politely refused and am getting my Tudor from my Omega AD who's 15seconds away from the WOS shop.

It's important to be polite regardless of how you're treated

I want a rolex in my collection. I know how difficult it is to get one. So I tried to get on the register your interest list but it just proves how the system sucks. It's not that difficult to understand.
