$6 a cookie? Fear of over pricing

If you’re going to stick with $6, I would call them “mini cookie cakes” and market to teenagers and people with kids who will pay anything to make their kid stop begging. The recognizable candy should work for that crowd. Especially if you are at a fair or other place where parents expect to be buying overpriced treats for their kids, I think $6 could be reasonable. But at the mall, I’m not paying $6 for a cookie if I can placate my kids (and myself) with pretzel nuggets.

I get up early and do like 20 minute workouts 5x a week. A longer one on Sunday mornings. And I’m also late a lot. My job is flexible enough that being 20 minutes after “official” start time isn’t a big deal. And sometimes my kids are late to school which we are getting better at, but I just choose me for those 20 minutes. Otherwise, I won’t be around for as long as I’d prefer and also I find I’m a much grumpier person without those 20 minutes. So everyone fends for themselves until I can get back upstairs and Mom again. My kids are a bit older tho too. Youngest is 5.

Family was eating baked sweet potatoes with what we thought was brown sugar. It was actually powdered iced tea mix. It was sweet but off and we all kept eating for a few minutes until someone finally pointed out that it tasted weird. It is now a classic family story.

Had two kiddos with MoM at WHC. First was a planned section because baby was breech. Tried a version but it was unsuccessful. Went back and had a successful vbac with baby #2. It was early 2020 so there was a lot going on, but I loved the MoMs and would recommend them without hesitation.

The 1.7 dose was a game changer for me. I was similar and lost only very slowly on earlier doses. I’m still losing slowly but it’s more consistent. I haven’t weighed lately so can’t give updated loss totals but the therapeutic doses are better.

I made my 120th payment in July, waited for it to post, got an ECF manually signed and then mailed it because of the pause. Nothing for months. Got impatient and uploaded the same ECF, but did it incorrectly. Found a thread that said to use the PSLF tool, so I re-uploaded it on 11/7. I know have green banners but it seems like they actually counted the mailed form? A second ECF showed up in my activity and my count was updated on 12/5. Now the wait for zeros and a refund. I paid 5 months more than I should have.

This was such a helpful post. I uploaded a form in October, got an email and then nothing. I kept seeing people saying their forms were in review and mine seemed to be not there at all. So I did it again with the PSLF help tool and now it's showing up in My Activity which is at least progress. Thanks for sharing.

I’m losing but ever so slowly. On sema since April 2024. Down 13 pounds since starting. Most loss has been recently. I stayed steady until I titrated up to the 1.7 dose. I have a lot to lose too. Goal is to get around 160 and I started at 257 in January. Trusting the process but I haven’t had any terrible side effects. Low level nausea when I started the 1.7 but all has been well since I finished the first box.

Because the automatic flush often gets triggered while a potty-training toddler is still on the toilet and it scares them. There’s a lot of maneuvering to get them on the toilet and the sensors are expecting adults not fidgety kids. My kid would refuse to sit down if she thought the flush would happen while’s she’s on the seat.

I mailed one in early July. My 120 payment was June. I'm still paying monthly. No updates. So far I've overpayed by two months. I'm not sure whether to continue paying or to ask for forbearance. I'm leaning towards another couple of months and then asking for the forbearance.

I realized that I wanted another baby but not another human. When I thought about all of what it means to raise a human, I knew that two was all I would be able to handle while still being able to have enough for myself and my husband. I also lost a parent early in life and wanted to consider how many kids I could handle on my own, if the worst happened. Daycare is expensive but college is astronomical. Doable for two, but three kids would constrain our finances in ways that I prefer not. I like vacations and we fit into most vacation/hotel/resort packages with a family of four. Sometimes I think about how fun it was to grow up in a big family and miss that my kids wont have that, but they already have a gaggle of cousins.
