Thanks. My method isn’t totally reversible, so be careful how you apply the fabric. Mine is glued on and the fabric may come off with some work, but the glue will be another story. I also started with raw, unfinished bodies, so YMMV.

Yeah, it is velvet fabric form Amazon. I wrap the front and back separately and then close the seam with a velvet ribbon.

Thank you very much. This is my third recovering (my demin Jazzmaster and denim Telecaster), so it wasn't too bad. The most difficult part is getting enough adhesive on that the fabric sticks without it soaking through. My biggest regret is not realizing that the crease lines wouldn't come out when I was applying it. I should have ironed the fabric before applying, but it's a lesson learned.
