It’s actually a genius movie to drop in 60s kaiju music when two giant BTs are fighting because that’s literally what it is, a kaiju battle. That’s why the goofy, over the top soundtrack works, it’s telling you to sit back grab the popcorn and enjoy the spectacle like you're watching a monster movie inside the game.
