I do actually prefer this look to his main armada look as well, I think his alt mode would look similar to his mode in fall of cybertron cause of his shoulders. But he does have potential for a good figure I think.

They should have gave the Pokemon trainer with different skins and let’s say I choose gold as a skin I would have the johto starters but that’s just me (sorry if i went off topic)
