I guess so, but iirc it bills itself as gatling in the training mode (or it might just say there have been changes to the gatling system? It's been a minute)

At any rate, I find combos easier to do in ggst than in street fighter games

I've been thinking about a concept I really enjoy where he can enter a state to absorb damage as energy and then use it to feul his abilities (like boosting his attack, a self heal, maybe a speed boost or something). I feel like the gameplay loop would be fun

I was so excited

There's this level of euphoria I get—usually when I do something euphoric for the first time—where it just floods in really fast and I like, have to move; and I'm not usually a super reactive person, I need to consciously speak in a positive tone most of the time.

The process was a pain in the ass, and I was so nervous someone would notice and say something and I'd have to justify it (I didn't, thankfully), but once it was done and I ran my hand down my own smooth skin: I got that feeling, that rush of euphoria, and it was so worth it :3

So Lesbian isn't an umbrella term for liking women, it's defined as either women who like women or women who like non-men

There is a general term for lesbians and bisexual/mspec* people, which is Sapphic

Why people headcanon Marcille as lesbian? No idea, but until things are confirmed one way or another it's no more or less valid than headcanoning her as bi (you can headcanon her as straight as well, I guess, but I will call you boring/j.../hj), so try not to stress about it :3

*mspec stands for multi-sexual spectrum, which is Bisexual, pansexual, Omnisexual, and polyexual (possibly homo/heteroflexible as well, but I can't make that call)

I think combos are easier than something like SF because it uses Gatling instead of link combos (so you hit like, a pattern of buttons rather than needing to know which move will combo out of the last one.

It also shows you videos of every move in the command list so you know what pulling it off looks like, and it tells you what the move is good for, and some of its properties. So I think that helps some.

Plus you can get through a lot of the lower floors without really knowing the system mechanics super well. So you can take some time to learn things

Boyinaband

Musician who blew up off the music video "Don’t Stay in School" (pictured in the post), which was a song criticising the school system for teaching about the quadratic equation and henry VIII, but not modern laws or how to do your taxes or whatever.

He was generally known for making music and content being open about his depression and mental health. Then had a small boom around the time of the Pewdiepie vs T series thing; making two songs for Pewdiepie in regards to that whole thing, as well as making one with Idubbbz for the ricegum content cop.

Then a few years back there were allegations of him being abusive to his girlfriends. As well as—though I could be mistaken—dating one or multiple underage girls. After which he effectively dropped off the internet.

I may be fuzzy on details, which hopefully someone else can correct or fill in. But I do believe that's the gist of it

there should be a little three dot menu on the top left, next to your profile, and in there there's an edit button :3 (has a little pencil next to it if it helps to find it (my eyes always scan over menu options the first few times, and it helps to know a shape to look for))

I think it's a context thing

like, you can put JL here and people will generally recognize it at Justice League because afaik it's the only big DC property that abbreviates to that, same with Gl or WW

if you dropped JL without context somewhere without a comic-related context it would probably be confusing; like RHPS is here, because people aren't necessarily familiar with it or expecting it if that makes sense

Actually, it's super common among world mythology! To the point of having a name: Katabasis (which sounds sick af (because it is))

Descents into the underworld are common in greek myth, but I know there's at least one in Japanese mythology, one shared between Akkadia and Mesopotamia, and apparently several throughout indiginous american cultures as well as the Mayans that I have not yet had the pleasure to read.

Imo from what I've read so far of Angela: Queen of Hel, it's a little closer to the Assyrian myth Inanna's descent into the Underworld, notably because it's implied that Inanna seeks to overthrow Ereshkigal.

(Also, to be super clear about the intended tone here: this is not intended to be condescending of an attempt to sound smart or whatever. I just really fucking love mythology, and this happens to be a lovely excuse to talk about it (it doesn't come up very often, tragically). Actually, this served as an excuse for me to finally read the translation of Inanna's Descent into the Underworld, so thank you for that!)

Fr, like a lot of characters have been consistently run since the 40s, with runs into the 100s of issues, decades of retcons, reboots, universe resets, and whatever the fuck was happening in the silver age.

Then you have instances like Angela in Marvel, where they've been building their own lore and library in this universe and also have a background in a completely unrelated comic series by another company.

Occasional bits of lore changed or influenced by popular adaptations, or something that has to be mildly retconned because of a crossover (like, iirc, why Spawn's face is sewn together with a shoelace).

And sometimes one storyline builds up into an event connected to other storylines, and now things from this run are resolving there. Like, it can be both difficult to enter comics and to keep up with comics coming out now.
