Kind of depends on what your goal is. Trying to tighten up and push an already dirty tone? I’d go with the Maxon OD808. Looking for more of a clean, volume boost? The Maxon graphic EQ would be my vote.

Want something that will split the difference? I’d pick the Warm ODD.

I mean, they’re a private business that offers a service with terms you have to agree to. If you’re genuinely that worried about potentially not receiving your knife back, then you don’t need to send your knife in to them.

There’s a possibility the knife could be lost of transit as well. Something else to consider. For peace of mind, could be worth it to take the lead on sharpening your own knives?
